I've just been noticing how many times a game he comes down the right wing with that right handed shot and takes that slapshot. He puts himself at a terrible angle way too often, and as we have seen 100 times he shoots wide and the play comes back the other way. He does have a really good shot, so what about moving him to LW to allow him to take it from the center of the ice instead of against the boards? In his last 5 games -- he has played as he did when he first came up from the AHL "many moons" ago. He is forechecking and skating with that forward lean in straight lines to the net -- with determination. He has his head down adn seems very focused -- since xmas time. He is strong along the wall and has taken hits to make plays. He is also hitting as best he can -- and does this by sticking his butt and hips into guys when he tracks them down on the dasher. He does not really hit with his hands or arms. A determined and healthy Pominville, skating with that forward lean and hea down focused look == good things for the PP and the team overall.
