The "dog days of summer" are gone and i think people are starting to get back into it, looking over realistic chances for the team and such. I love talking hockey and this off-season wasn't bad at all. The last 2 summers were really bad because after losing to Carolina, i think all i wanted was to get back to it and they couldn't come back soon enough, then we won the President's trophy and a huge failure and i just needed to get away from it all, it all seemed too stressful so i was not on any Sabres board for months. This past summer, it was relaxing, fun, funny at times and some good topics, like Olympic threads, it made it go by fast. Buffalo Fan Posted September 10, 2008 Author Report Share Posted September 10, 2008 There's nothing like being at a game, standing for the National Anthem, excited and proud...and waiting for the first guy in the arena to shout "LET's GO BUFFALO!" before the anthem is complete.
