carpandean Posted July 23, 2008 Report Share Posted July 23, 2008 So, Phoenix just re-signed this kid, Daniel Carcillo, and in looking at his info, I found a few things that as a hockey fan made me laugh. First, the kid led the league in penalty minutes with 324 minutes in 57 games as a rookie. That's just insane. However, what really cracked me up was his player description on sportsnet.ca: Assets: Could become the next Sean Avery. Has shift-disturbing qualities and the ability to drop the gloves against anyone. Is a solid hitter, as well. Flaws: Could become the next Sean Avery. Must reduce his side-show tactics and stick to playing hockey more often. Is very limited in terms of offensive ability. Classic! :thumbsup: Interesting team they are putting together there with this guy, Fedoruk and McGrattan. Then, of course, they got Jokinen, too.
