Are we going to play this "in the hunt" game again?
Carmel Corn replied to PASabreFan's topic in The Aud Club
The only thing they are in the hunt for is to finish within earshot of the wildcard spots and then try to again portray that they are so very close to greatness….just need another year. Wash, rinse and repeat and then to the “spin” cycle -
Is "accountability" even possible in the Sabres organization?
Carmel Corn replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
The only true accountability that exists in a Pegula organization is to do what Terry wants and/or don’t pi$$ him off. If you disagree or violate either of these two rules, then you are gone. -
He is still a defensive liability, especially in front of his own net. Bad decision making and absolutely zero aggression, which is not good for a top 4 defender. I’ll admit he made a nice offensive zone play, but that doesn’t offset his inability to shut down the opposition when trying to protect a lead.

Reviewing Adams' Off-season acquisitions at the half way mark
Carmel Corn replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
It’s only one game, but his line was by far the best one last night. He had the benefit of better wingers. I’d rather have McLeod playing center over Krebs. -
Down another forward for however long. Maybe Kozak gets another call up?

Hmmmm…..so you don’t think Adams told Ruff who his assistant coaches were going to be either?!?! Sorry, but between Pegula and Adams, I seriously wonder how much decision making authority Ruff has. Part of me thinks he has to relinquish to Appert plenty of his authority because Seth will otherwise run to Kevyn to tell him Lindy is being mean to him.
