Rockin' my LaFontaine jersey at work today with the pre-game show/game on TuneIn Radio in front of me, and taping the game at home. My Flyer Fan office mate is off today, so less yapping makes for a happy afternoon.

We got a cat this week...she's an older girl, a long-haired tortoise shell colored cat. We got an older one because my 3 year old son doesn't do really well with very fast moving animals, but he loves this girl. We decided to re-name her, and told him that he could pick any name he wanted to name her. His choice: Stevie Johnson. F'n Fantastic.

Yep, it's a f'n mess here...but I'm in the same boat...no water near my house, so we are dry. I can't say the same thing for the areas about 10 mins on either side of me. Harrisburg/Lewisberry/Marysville/Hershey all got bombed.

Awesome win. I hope they can keep it up and end that Pittsburgh win streak on Saturday. I will be back in Buffalo, can't wait!

Yep. This was some horrible officiating in the last minute or so.

Man, it sucks not having Center Ice this year. I feel anxious all night because I can't watch the game.

I like it for the fact that you can make a change and it takes effect the same day, in case you have an injured player or something, but you are right, it does create the situation that is happening now. Something that would prevent it is some sort of waiver order for dropped players...2 days or something, that way you can't just freely drop players and pick them back up day after day.

If I am not mistaken, last year when you signed free agents, the change did not take place until the following day. This year, when you sign free agents or drop players, it affects your roster right away. Am I mistaken on this?

I think there were two great options there. He had plenty of net to shoot, from a very close range. But, you are right, he had Roy with a wide open chance, and he overskated it and blew it.

Our powerplay is the most frustrating part about watching this team. So brutal.

That was a rough one to give up...I think had Connolly just boxed out and let ETHRON cover the puck, it would have been a goal. It looked like he was fighting ETHRON for the puck.
