I had to listen on radio today, but it sounded like the much maligned Da'Norris Searcy was making a lot of plays in the secondary.
Hopefully we'll get a DB or two back for Thursday's game against Cleveland.

The force is strong in young Kiko Alonso.

I think The Hoff deserves a letter more than Myers. I'd go with Vanek, Ott, and The Hoff to start the year with letters.
-
If we're trying to resign him then Vanek. If Vanek is as good as gone then Ott.

This was the knock against EJ coming out of FSU, he had accuracy problems. Will be interesting to see how that limits him going forward. I do hope he continues to succeed but these have been 2 tough games to win and we need to dominate a Jets team that IMPO is not all that good. Long way to go but at least EJ has shown good signs.
I watched him play a ton at Florida State (I'm an ACC guy) and accuracy was never a big problem with him from what I saw. His worst year in college he completed over 65%. He had a rough game against Florida last year, but otherwise looked good the whole year. I saw him beat my team (Virginia Tech) with a last minute drive, which rarely happens against a Bud Foster coached defense.

It's not as bad as John Murphy saying "the most underrated play of the game was the two point conversion" about 5 minutes after the game.
Murphy was yelling "and the Bills tie it up!" after the go-ahead extra point... he had to be reminded that the Bills were actually ahead. Oof.

USA has a World Cup qualifier in Costa Rica tonight. Game is on BEIN sports at 10pm EST.

That is sweet!
Also and being from Nashville LPF or Potato (they were one in the same right?) Talked to the GF last night and it is a go for Sabres Predators in March, pretty excited.
Also even though the weather sucks I am heading to Atlanta tonight with the case of beer I have in my trunk for some fun partying!
Come one, come all for the Sabres vs. Preds down here in Nashville on Thursday, March 27th. I'll buy 6 or 8 tickets behind the Sabres bench if I can. Last time the Sabres were down here there was a pretty big contingent of Sabres fans... we had a lot of fun pre-gaming with all sorts of random Sabres fans!

Ocean City, MD
Cape May, NJ
Atlantic City
All 3 are extremely close to each other.
IMHO, the best place for him to stop and get a drink... or ten... is Dewey Beach, DE, which is between OC and Cape May. Full on debauchery all summer long.

And what Real Madrid payed for bale is just ridiculous, alot of better players out there than him.
Bale is pretty nasty coming off the right side... but I actually like this move a lot for Spurs. They have a ton of cash to go get some depth now.

I actually like the strategy of resting all of the starters yesterday. We're pretty thin at certain positions (as we all know), so there was no reason to take a chance on someone getting hurt prior the the regular season.

Hey I like pork slap!
I figured someone must like it! Vegan beer (all malt, no hops) is not for me.

Had the worst beer of my life today. Magic Hat Hicu. I want to fight the panty waist that came up with the stellar combo of cucumber and hibiscus for a BEER! It was like sucking on a rose petal but worse. Come on man!
Worse than Butternuts Porkslap Ale?

Nice list of breweries, including many I've never heard of. Of the ones I'm familiar with I wouldn't miss New Belgium, Southern Tier, Lagunitas, Stone, Sweetwater and Oskar Blues
Southern Tier has started showing up in bars and restaurants down here as of late. A couple of the local TN breweries on the list that I highly recommend: Calfkiller (very good beers) and Yazoo. A few of the brewers I've never heard of (Czann's, BFM, Good People). I'm looking forward to trying some new ones!

I'm heading to the Nashville Predator's craft beer festival tomorrow! http://predators.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=90165

Complaint: Unless you are watching your favorite team, pre-season football is supremely boring to watch on TV.

(Hockey Prospectus) Top 10 Sabres Propects 2013: http://www.hockeypro...?articleid=1563
Buffalo Sabres Top 10 Prospects
1. Mikhail Grigorenko, Center
2. Rasmus Ristolainen, Defense
3. Nikita Zadorov, Defense
4. Joel Armia, Right Wing
5. Zemgus Girgensons, Center
6. J.T. Compher, Center
7. Mark Pysyk, Defense
8. Johan Larsson, Center
9. Jake McCabe, Defense
10. Brayden McNabb, Defense
Organizational Ranking: 3rd
System Overview
The Sabres boast an elite farm system, anchored mainly by their past two draft classes. Grigorenko is a star prospect, and Buffalo's top five or six prospects are extremely strong. The system's depth is slightly above average, and their pipeline has a lot of players who are close to NHL-ready, which the struggling Sabres sorely need.
Been a while since our system has been this stocked with legitimate prospects, although many of them are still very young. And, we have a bunch more picks again this year, which we can add to if/when we trade Miller and Vanek. As much as I despise Darcy, the new strategy of stockpiling picks and building from within just might pay off in a few years.

Hello from Istanbul. It is early Saturday morning here... but STILL a fantastic Friday.

Big things going on in Big D. Amassing young talent down there. Interesting situation for Lindy.
Things that are AWESOME...
