I was at the game last night and it was the most electric the fans have been all year! Standing up for every save, drowning out any and all attempts at a Rangers chant, and then ERUPTING on the Skinner game winning goal! They way Skinner turned around immediately to point at Levi gave me chills! They played inspired/confident hockey with Levi in net, for me, it was the best game of the season! Levi has the “it” factor. The goal over the shoulder was fluky and the second goal was on the team. He stopped and had it, his teammates allowed the Rangers to gather around the net and poke at it instead of clearly them out. Levi should play today and if he wins they should ride him! KA and DG talk about giving the kids experience and time to grow, what a chance to do it now with Levi! It’s our best chance at the playoffs as well. Win, win!!!

I will be at the game tonight, can't wait to see Levi do his thing! I agree, STH need to defend their home ice and be in attendance. It is very disheartening when we barely have enough fans in the arena to "boo" out the visiting teams chants!

To me, they get cute at times. Especially when they are pressing. They can hold the puck in the zone very well because of their passing talent (vision), but don't shoot because they're constantly looking for the perfect shot! They NEED to put the puck on net as much as possible and work to rebound. Rousek was in front of the net consistently against the Habs and was rewarded for it!

KA also addressed the management of emotion in regards to our young, passionate players. Specifically in regards to a question about the home ice record. Said they want it so bad for the fan base that they are putting undo pressure on themselves and it been a process learning how to handle that added pressure to perform and produce wins. He also mentioned how having fans from other teams fill the stadium was disheartening for them. I can understand and appreciate that! They’re young and as I’m sure they know our history, they didn’t live it. Understanding how people are hesitant still to buy in again I’m sure is difficult for them at times.

I was in attendance last night and I am a first time STH, who believes the writing is on the wall that the Sabres are making the same type of turnaround that the Bills have done recently. In listening to KA, I found him to be genuine, vested, and especially knowledgeable as to the strengths and weaknesses of his team. He answered every question as honest as a GM could publicly. When the topic of Bryson came up, he supported his current player, while also subtly acknowledging the deficiencies of our current defensive roster. I left there confident that he will be looking to add a top 4 defensemen. What didn't get talked about was goaltending, except for the promising future that Devin Levi has.
