There have been a "few" posts regarding preseason play equated to "we will suck in the regular season", but I wouldn't say it's the majority. If anything, the doom and gloom may be coming from the fact that a team that missed the playoffs last year hasn't changed a lot in terms of its roster... Campbell & Tbo out. Rivet, Teppo & Lalime in. Personally, I expect the Sabres to make the playoffs and led by the guys making the big bucks...Roy, Vanek, Pominville, Hecht, Rivet & Miller. As far As Gerbe goes(at least I think that is who you are talking about), what's wrong with fans being excited about him. Just because you don't like his chances of becoming successful in the NHL doesn't mean others can't root for him.

I hate the change from summer to gray cold damp days in early October! :angry:

I give them a buck, but usually am pissed off because of the hard sell they give you at the cashier booth, which is followed by the cold shoulder when you say no to everything.

My taste buds aren't fussy...when I am in a hurry and don't feel like spending $15 on a pizza, Little Caesars for $5.50 does the trick. :rolleyes:

WTF is up with the secret code words on the ticketmaster website. I understand the need to have them, but do you have to make them so difficult to read that you can't even figure out what the letters are? :angry: :angry: :angry: for example what is that supposed to be on the right?...

I hate automotated phone menus! I don't know which is worse...the ones that seem to get you into a perpetual loop or the ones that you get to a certain point and eventually get to a point where you get... "call back later...CLICK".

I just got another one of these calls. I have asked numerous times to be removed from the list. Usually they just hang up on me. Today, I threatened them with legal action if they don't stop calling. The person on the other end could not have cared less. :angry: Isn't there some number in NYS you can call to report these idiots?

I know ticket scalpers aren't on par with rocket scientists BUT... I went down to the Buffalo Bisons game last night and was going to scalp a couple of tickets. Box office price ticket prices are 7.50, 9.50 and 10.50. Keep in mind that when the scalpers are buying Bison tickets, they are paying a couple of bucks per ticket, if that. So I go up to a scalper who had to have at least 100 tickets in his hand. I ask how much for a pair and he says $10 each. Box office price? I told him I'd give him $10 for a pair and he walks away from me. His buddy down the street, gives me the same price and attitude. WTF? I said $10 for 2 or I buy at the box office. He laughed at me. :blink: PS The silver lining and why Buffalo is the city of good neighbors. As I am walking away from the second scalper(who by the way is trying to tell me the game is sold out :lol: :lol: ), the couple and their kids who are walking next to me, gave me two tickets including tickets for a free hot dog and pop. I tried to give him some money twice as we walked and he refused both times. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
