Not to sound like I am out of touch and an old fart(which I am on both counts), but what is up with this "+1" crap that is popping up on message boards. I am not sure if it is supposed to mean that you agree with another poster, but if so, can't you just type "great post" or even easier, insert the thumbs up smiley. <_<

I visit a disney board from time to time(depends if I am planning a trip) and there are people debating whether they should cancel their trip because of this. :lol:

One thing work related... Why should I have to unsubscribe to email mass mailings that I never subscribed to in the first place. Furthermore, once I do unsubscribe, don't send me another email telling me this will take effect in 2 to 3 weeks. It should take effect immediately. Stop spamming me!!!!! :angry: :angry:

Is there anything more ridiculous than vanity plates? I recently saw an older guy driving a '70's Trans Am with the vanity plate 2W1LD4U. Seriously? :lol:

People who still pay by check at a store. Ever hear of a debit card. Stop living in the 1960's and holding up the checkout line because you are paying by check and then even worse holding up the line even more while you update your check register.

The morning idiots on WBEN radio who have to use words like "very difficult" and "treacherous" when describing the driving conditions this morning and any other morning when a snow flake is falling. All that does is send everyone into a panic. I drove Transit Rd. through West Seneca, all the way to Wherle and then downtown. Nothing but wet pavement and slush. Here is a novel idea...why not take calls from people on the roads to get real time updates on conditions instead of some traffic jackass at the station who is reading updates that are 1+ hours old.

To all the aholes with your 4WD/AWD who think they are immune from spinning out and/or causing accidents when the weather is bad, I salute you...<insert fu smiley>.

I always order diet coke/pepsi. I just prefer the taste of it to regular cola which is sugary syrupy sweet beyond belief. It has nothing to do with what I am eating nor am I trying to lose weight by drinking it.
