No, I meant my thinking as of today is that they end up the last team in come April.

As of today, I think they end up the last team in. We're 3 games into a 22 game stretch that includes 15 home games. When this stretch ends on 12/11, I think we'll have a good idea how serious a contender this team is.

My issue is we've been sold on a "process" with no measurable expectations assigned to it. There is a core in place going on their 3rd to 4th season together. The expectations this year need to be no lower than playoffs. If they are not playing in the postseason, Adams needs to be gone and a good, veteran GM needs to be hired to evaluate the roster top to bottom and suss out which pieces are really a part of a team that will chase a cup. The problem is that Adams is personally attached to too many of these guys and I think that clouds his objectivity. We have looked much better since the 0-3 start and there's still plenty of runway for this team to put it together and finally get to the playoffs. I think they just might, but if they fail to do so, a lot of changes need to happen because of your "process" isn't working by year 4, you did it wrong. On to the next one...
