It’s an incredible line. Cozens centering Quinn/JJP was a stroke of genius, too. I’m a Cozens fanboy, have been since he dropped the gloves with Lindgren as an 18 year old rookie, but he’s far surpassed my expectations at this point in his career. He looks like he’s gonna be a star.

Just rewatched Tage’s pass to Tuch for the tying goal. That was ELITE.

Indeed he did. I also noticed him a few times defensively disrupting some passes and I think he had a big block on a Matthews shot in the second period.

Five months this season have taught me to not get too high or too low on this edition of the Sabres. I’ve also learned that you can get very high on the Sabres future. It’s gonna be fun. Tonight taught me that they are a totally different team with Alex Tuch. I’d wager if he wasn’t playing tonight, it would have gotten out of hand after the Leafs got those two quick goals. Instead, they stood up, dusted themselves off, and proceeded to kick their ass for the rest of the period.
