Sabres thought it should have been a too many men penalty against the Isles since Tavares jumped on way too early to get that pass. Since it wasn't called and he was in the clear, Penalty Shot was the correct call IMO.

How can a player considered to be a "goal scorer" be goaless almost 25% into the season? This guy needs to sit up in the press box and watch Thomas Vanek for a game. Game after game, he refuses to go to the dirty areas and do his job of scoring for this team. So much for wearing an A as a reflection of leadership. Other than standing up for Ennis in the opener against the Flyers, he's been pretty darn quiet.

The Bruins come in to the game with a 7-1-1 record and well rested after their Saturday game against the Lightning was postponed due to Nemo the Nor'Easter.
