There’s two safeties I still really like. Emmanwori and Watts. A bunch of good CB’s still and I don’t think I’d mind if we double dipped. But DL is probably our biggest need. Hopefully we use some of those extra picks to trade up and get the guys McBeanne really want.

I couldn’t believe Will Johnson was falling right into our laps. I thought for sure he would be the pick. When healthy he was a top 10 pick. But something must not be right with his knee. I like the Hairston pick. Dude is fast. Seems like a great kid. Hoping he pans out. Now we gotta get some DL. I’d still like a safety. Maybe a speed WR. Maybe a RB to replace Cook (this draft is loaded with rb talent). I’m actually hoping we take a late round chance on that UB linebacker Dolac.

What are we thinking for the 1st round? Trade up/trade down? Offense/defense? Any specific players or position you hope we target? For me, I think we go defense. Stay put and take best DL or DB. I’d prefer DB. Someone like Emmanwori or even Ben Morrison (I’m a big ND guy).

Anyone know more about Isaac Howard? Just won the Hobey Baker. I guess there’s concern Tampa might not be able to sign him. I read he plays with grit. Could he be a possible target?

Jersey is much more likely than Vancouver to collect all the Hughes.

I don’t think the exact same thing. Eichel was not even close to the player and even person McDavid is. Because of Eichel’s personality we got rid of a great leader so it could be “Eichel’s” team. I don’t think we would’ve had to do the same if we landed McDavid. Eichel was a bad teammate at times. McDavid is a great one.

I wonder what would’ve happened to TM had his plan of getting Mcdavid worked. We were one bouncing ball away from finding out.

I like him too. I’m not saying he was a bad pick by any means. It’s just this team, in my opinion, need better defense and we passed on two good ones.

I hated that trade down. Maybe they still would’ve taken Helenius at 11 and got the extra picks as a bonus. But they passed on and missed out on some talented defenseman.

Has there ever been a draft day trade up into top 5? I can’t recall ever seeing one.

All depends. If they “run it back”. Then no. If they make some major moves and adjustments, then I think we can. The talent is there.

I’m done with this group. Terry needs to hire a president and then stay out of it. Let the new president pick his own guys.

The way I look at it is getting a good draft pick is the lone reward for fans after having to suffer through another bad season. So I’m at the point of F the moral victory of wining the last game. Give me a better draft pick to make it easier on this organization to not screw up the selection.

Does anyone know what injury he currently has?

I would like to see Boston win and get out of that 4th spot. I don’t want to see them get lucky and retool quickly. I’d like to see them suffer at least a little bit.
