Injury updates Norris and Power, April 15, 2025
Second Line Center replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
Then this is likely an MCL injury. Most anything other than the ACL tear is good news. They’ll get him “off season strong” and won’t rush him as long as he can start dead lifting his freaking weight - which half the team needs to do Thigh Doc thinks LCL -

This Catastrophic for next season. -
I mean outside of the Dahlin injury and the coinciding 13 game losing streak - I just don’t know WTH is with this team. Was it just that? You can’t lose your best player? Florida has looked bad since losing Ekblad to the suspension. Which I think his last game was against us. Goaltending? Cozens a “chemistry” problem?

Sabres sign Goalie Prospect Topias Leionon to 3 year ELC
Second Line Center replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
I said a “proven” goalie. When I suggested a hypothetical trade involving Levi and legit forward prospect I’d want an elite one back - elite is probably too much to ask plus there aren’t many - I meant at least someone better then good. -

If this team is serious about the playoffs next year neither UPL or Levi is the starter next year. You have to trade for a proven goalie. No “hoping” for UPL to fix it. No time to try and force Levi to be the no 1 if he isn’t ready. I hate to say it. The move might be to trade Levi and a forward if we want an elite goalie coming back. I don’t want to trade Levi but UPL is worthless. Thinking we’d get anything for him - it ain’t happening. We cannot start the year with UPL again. -

Eichel scored the potential winner - then they tried to rub salt by forcing him the empty netter - and we took it personal. REMEMBER THIS DAY FOLKS!! This is the day we COULD look back on and say they finally grew a set and -

All the more reason he needs a strong Team President and GM. So of course, he refuses to do this. This off season he’s going to learn for the first time he has a team that no longer believes in him and the organization. It used to be - the coach, the players were too young, Jack got the C too soon, ROR lost his love of the game, or we just had bad goaltending. This is different now. I think this team was sad when Granato got fired. The GM hired a guy I’m pretty sure the owner told him to hire. The players see it’s a joke. The GM had the disaster palm trees press conference. They’ve quit. This is a bad combination of soft guys, young guys, one real “hate losing more then love winning guy,” and low hockey IQ guys - that doesn’t show up on the analytics. Strong GMs figure this out.

What is the Strength of this Organization?

I’ve been saying this since the start of last season. We will get where we need to be when Power reaches his potential. You just can’t be as bad as we were, end up with the first overall pick and it bust.
