Sabres have missed the playoffs for 13 seasons and counting. The single worst team in the history of pro sports (1962 Mets) won the World Series in their 8th season. The idea that a half decade of being a league punching bag is in any way acceptable is completely ridiculous.

The only move that will lead to the team becoming good is firing Donny and his entire staff and replacing them with actual NHL quality coaches. There's a reason the vast majority of college coaches who go to the pros fail spectacularly: they are two totally different things. College=Development, Pros=Winning.

Donny and his staff are the absolute worst coaches in the entire sport and there's ZERO chance any of them will be fired. There is absolutely no chance this team makes the playoffs next season.

Would love to hear any argument why Donny and his entire staff shouldn't all be fired the season ends.

Dahlin did everything he could to tie that game and definitely deserves kudos. (The ENG I'm guessing since he's dead to rights against their best player that he was hoping to surprise his countryman with a diving poke check but it failed)
I'm both angry and less annoyed thanks to the last 10 minutes. I both want to give credit for the desperate push they made in the 3rd on the back end of a back to back but also feel angered they lost and didn't exactly play great for about 50min.
As the Ben said on Twitter, if this were earlier in the season this would be a game to chuck into the bad pile and move on but we don't exactly have much wiggle room at this point.
Why has nobody to my knowledge asked Donny why the team was so completely unprepared coming into the season?

And then said you can't be like Torts these days and succeed. Which is odd given that he has a team everyone had pegged as bottom 5 with a dreadful roster and losing his starting goalie to the OPHL (Ontario Prison Hockey League) in a playoff place.

Why should Granato and the assistants be brought back?

The absolute best thing that can happen is for this team to lose all it's remaining games in uncompetitive fashion. It needs to be so ugly that there is no choice but to fire the entire coaching staff because if they come back with Donny and company next season is already over before it even starts.
