I like Krebs. One of a handful of guys with a motor who gives an honest shift, can play C or F, and is unafraid to mix it up. A keeper, imo.

When Thompson moved to the slot and drove down the right side, he took Greaves with him. Benson was wide open at the right post for an easy goal, but Thompson took the shot anyway. Stupid or selfish. He tried to do it by himself.

If he doesn’t want to be here, trade him while he still has high value. Did he marry a local girl?

Personally think it is improbable the Sabres will pull UPL on the basis of one NHL outing after one AHL conditioning game and no training camp. If the Sabres go with three goalies, he is one of them. If they go with two, my bet it is Lyon and UPL Think it is unfortunate Ellis had a stiff back taking him out of perhaps the biggest game of his career, Hockey Night in Canada in Toronto in front of millions. Wonder if stress didn’t contribute to his back ache?

Damn it. Brought up too soon. Needed more game action before starting thia important game against a key division rival. Back to Rochester for more work. Got a point.
