Eichel should send McDavid a nice text just saying Edmonton with a laughing emoji after it. Of course if he did that, then Edmonton would make a trade with Buffalo and Jack would end up in hockey hell. I for one and psyched to get Eichel. I was expecting him all along and actually wanted him a little more. He is only going to get bigger and stronger.

Edmonton should take a goalie #1. It's what they really need and McDavid will not have all of his talent used correctly in that hockey deathbed. I hope he holds out. Edmonton!!!

I have Direct TV. NBCSN is 220 and NBCSa is 220-1. Don't know if cable carries those secondary channels. Homerism is gone, but not the annoying accent. Keeps referring to Tampa as "Tamper". Guy shouldn't be on TV outside of beantown.

Have you ever been hit on the big bone in your wrist by a metal stick before? I have as I played goalie my whole life. It hurts and it hurts bad for at least five minutes. There was no embellishment and who are you to say he was overreacting? Until you've actually been there then it's best to not comment. Stones playoffs are probably over because of a two handed baseball swing to a basically bare wrist that broke a bone. You guys that assume everything, but have never actually been there are ridiculous. I love PK, but that was a punk move.

I agree. Once that goal is scored and the clock is turned back, then in reality that penalty never happens. The league needs to do something about this. Like if it's a questionable call, then blow the whistle. What if a player gets injured during the time that shoud have not been played? It's a very tough situation in such a fast paced game. Maybe replay should be going on right after said questionable call and then relayed down to the officials to stop the play.

Ex-Sabres from this past year are tearing it up. Mitchell, Flynn, Stafford. Apparently playing with some talent around you does make a difference. Happy for these guys, but will be more happy when we are kicking their in the near future.

This is where I'm torn. Nolan has gotten a lot out of these guys. Gionta has been a big help as well, but what could Nolan do with some real talent? Although I question where all this effort was earlier in the season.
