Missed the first period, but from what I've seen so far in the second, not very impressed. If Jack is out for an extended period, it's gonna be a looong season. I hope Okposo and Kulikov can make a difference,

On the plus side, no other Leaf found the twine and their defense is garbage. Hockey ain't like football where one great coach with one great player (Belichick/Brady) can carry you to the promised land. Matthews might have 100 pts and be in the top in scoring at the end of the season, but his team will be near the top of the lottery as well.

Not in WNY. Cloudly, miserable and rainy here. Even the weather sucks right now. Although I am still psyched for opening night, I'm also pissed and feeling like someone stole my shiny new bike.

Actually, this is just his goals pace. Now add some assists in there, he might be pushing 1000 pts. Would not surprise me at all. I'll make sure to buy some Tanqueray before Sunday. This is also quite possible.

The only thing that can make this worse, is if the Bills lose to Kaepernick Sunday. I might start drinking the hard stuff again.

You know those pictures going around social media of the scary clowns just standing around not saying a word? That's me. Maybe, just maybe I'll switch it up that night and throw on a Sabres jersey. -
He sounded like a guy who has been in the NHL for 4-5 years already. He looked real good and didn't seem to be hindered by the ankle at all. If he's not 100%, he's damn close.

Did you watch the 2nd game with Toronto last week when Buffalo got smoked? On one PP the Sabres had eight shots on goal. It may have been a double minor penalty, I can't remember. Loads of chances, they just need to finish better.

Yeah, you kinda got a point there. Unless you throw a janitor in goal like the Sabres did against the Leafs last week.

Cody Franson grew up two blocks away from Shea Weber. It's pretty obvious who got all the talent in that neighborhood.

It was actually supposed to start yesterday. I was going to watch the John Murphy Show for the Rex Ryan interview, but the station was off air as it normally is. Same thing today. I have no clue what the problem is.
