  1. Rangers came back to tie the Penguins so far #scoreboardwatch
  2. I'm debating getting my Dahlin jersey now vs possibly later for the 50th anniversary
  3. Unfortunately, the torch is probably going to be passed to Dan. "Eichel tower" "cardiac kids" *listening to WGR having no idea wtf is going on*
  4. VO has such a rocket, looking forward to him and Eichel making many points years to come
  5. Wish Pommers could be on one of the top lines for this game, hope Nylander isn't out for non-injury, wish Skinner could also be bumped up so we can try and not piss him off being lower than line 2, and am tired of seeing Dahlin/Risto being paired...I didn't say anything revolutionary and probably everyone was thinking this anyway. Peace out, Lousley.
  6. Got a free ticket for donating blood a few months ago, and I was ridiculously hyped for this game back then. Now, not so much. I've put my own blood on the line for this team and this is how they repay me....
  7. Exact opposite actually. Nylander was paired with the 'offensive' 28 and 22, and he had under 8 minutes of total gameplay. In the presser, Phil said that him not playing enough was because of him not liking how his linemates were performing... Pairing Skinner with Okposo also seemed like a great idea to try and get him out of this massive slump, right? Linus let 3 goals in period 1, but everyone including Hutton based on his comments last night know that a change in net is useless.
  8. He was asked about the snowball effect with goals and briefly said they were veteran mistakes and was quickly dismissive with it as he was with all the others In regards to how tough this is at year's end, he mentions to keep pushing along or whatnot. He said the fans' response is justified. In regards to Nylander's TOI being so low, there's tweets in this thread that sum it up, but he basically said he wasn't satisfied with how his linemates 28/22 were playing; I'll give Phil some slack here, after all, it's not like you're allowed to change lines up midway through the game! /s Same monotone, Dick Jauronesque responses; earlier in the year he seemed at least a little bit visibly frustrated and had some tone and variety in his answers. Now he's definitely just going through the motions.
  9. I can definitely see and agree with this
  10. Detroit has a lead over Boston; if both of these games hold up, we'll be dipping lower. Yay?
  11. Marty has "opted out of talking?" Lmao (until he was prompted)
  12. A better pass from Reinhart would have given Montour a better shot for sure
  13. I wonder how good he'll be once he starts shaving...whenever that may be
  14. Your first sentence, I'm not sure how you're saying that. As for the second sentence, I'm not sure and was basing my reply off of the article and nothing more; I'm not sure what the reporter said but that could be possible, but a couple times he brings up Buffalo, he chooses to transition to it on his own it seems.
  15. He says he moves on, yet keeps bringing up Buffalo without any prompt to do so? It's strange because lots of his prior interviews before he played us were nothing but positive comments about how the team helped him through these problems and he manned up and put lots of blame on him.
  16. 41, 33, and 92 looked solid which is nice; if we couldn't win against these last three teams, who knows if we'll put up a fight in these final five games.
  17. I'm mostly acting out of emotion here, who knows what caused it. It's just strange for him to get a five year extension, "resign," and join them all of a sudden
  18. Okposo looks like he's about to cry
  19. Rex requested to leave when Tyrod was benched for EJ in the last week so the Bills wouldn't have to be on the hook for $27M guaranteed for injury. That decision wasn't his, and he asked if he and his brother could be dismissed immediately.
  20. Edmonton. I was interested in going to that game to see McDavid (eventually miss an empty net lol). That'll be the last penny I spend on this team until major improvements in coaching, management, and player execution.
  21. One positive last period was Tage's presence in the O-zone; he's regularly skating, defending, passing well, and almost converted a great goal with the spin
