I want someone who can run a high flying offensive attack and bring the defensemen up in the play as well, give me Sheldon Keefe, 36 years old, seems to really have the kids minds in the right places, I'd like to see this team be more innovative, give Keefe a shot.

The Ducks will trade a defenseman before the expansion draft no doubt about it or they lose one for nothing. I say they get Kane or the #8 overall pick, I went with kane because the Ducks need more goal scoring and would fill a huge need for them and vatanen although a RHD can also play the left side effectively as well, plays on the PP and a penalty killer, he was 2nd on the ducks in TOI 21 + a night and Ritchie would be a solid power forward for us. We now have the 8th pick to take a D or winger prospect.

I think GMJB should give serious considerations to UFA's- Bonino 3rd line center, Oshie 2nd line RW, Brett Connolly 3rd line RW, Kris Versteeg 3rd line LW.
On defense look at Shattenkirk or Del Zotto for top four and Quincy for bottom pair.
Moulsson bought out or hopefully Vegas would pick him up.

I'd rather bring up and develop our young players rather than over pay for 15 goal scorers.... Waiting in the wings is D Brendan Guhle, LW Alexander Nylander, RW Justin Bailey, C Rasmus Asplund, RW Nicholas Baptiste, RW Hudson Fasching, RW Cliff PU, LW Evan Rodriguez, D Brady Austin, D Brycen Martin, D Devante Stephens... Some of those guys should transition into good hockey players right?

Best thing we could do is give Vegas draft picks to take Moulson/Gorges or Moulson/Bogo off our hands which they said they were interested in doing.

I'm expecting him to make top 6, then make our defense better which won't be that hard to do and hopefully be a part of why we get into the playoffs.

If you're preaching structure, discipline and communication how is that Rick Tochett? Man I hope we get Fenton/Housley, I just think that pair would do some great things together. I have no problem with Gillis, I mean it's easy to say he destroyed the Canucks but he also brought them within a game from winning the cup, and a nice playoff run that included a presidents trophy season, he wouldn't be my first choice but it's not like he's some bum.

I have the feeling as the years progress, that the Pegulas will make the ever meddling Ralph Wilson Jr. seem like Mr. "Hands Off" by comparison. With these people, an employee can be dynamite one day, 4 or 5 months later they're handing out pink slips.
They're volatile, impulsive, meddling owners, who don't have a good plan or strategy.
They also don't take much responsibility and aren't terribly honest- I sincerely doubt Pegula was as distanced from the Bylsma hire as he tried to allude, but he basically put it all on Murray.
I disagree with the meddling part, there really no clear sign any meddling is going on, they inherited GM Doug Whaley and that staff, Pegula also admitted to not being involved enough with the last signing of GM Tim Murray for the Sabres when he was hired so he is trying to right both ships imo and I see nothing wrong with that.

The Vegas Knights GM said he's open to accepting draft picks for players to be picked off the roster, how about a 2nd and 3rd round pick to take Moulson and Bogosian off our roster? Getting better by eliminating 2 ridiculous contracts and save 10.142M to spend on better assets. We'd only have to deal with the Gorges 3.9M contract for 1 more season.

I thought Guhle was interchangeable but it's Antipin, he can play either side and has... I just got the player wrong so:

I for 1 am sure as hell glad we don't have to watch Stafford/Pominville/Vanek all watch our goalie get his ass ran over and not do anything, that was a weak group. It's heading in the right direction, the only bad thing about rebuilds is now you have to wait for the kids to grow up a little bit.

Or we can trade LW Evander Kane for LHD Cam Fowler and trade the 8th overall pick in 2017 draft to the CBJ , plus LHD Josh Gorges in exchange for RHD Jacob Trouba.

GM Paul Fenton with HC Phil Housley would be an awesome step in the right direction imo. I'm hoping for this combo but won't hold my breath.

Its been time. His value is good. We aren't shelling out what he'll want for his next contract, which by the way, is his set me up for term and money deal.
I agree, move him, bring in a pure LW, left handed shot. Eichel will have Baptiste on his RW next season moat likely. They need a pure LW'er. UFA isn't the answer this year. A couple of trades need to happen. Kane for D and Reinhart for LW in my humble opinion. Time to start building out the wings.
I wouldn't trade Reinhart at all, didn't we draft LW Alexander Nylander last season? How about moving O'Reilly to wing where he belongs and having Eachel/Reinhart up the middle and strengthen our 2 lines?
