  1. Can't say I've read much on Lindstram but he has a solid draft profile which is good, were really emphasizing the defense this draft.

Big, raw, defensively solid, edgy defender who has seems to have gotten lost in the pile of high-end Swedish defensemen. Makes a hard first pass out of his end. No flash, just a really strong on his skates player who is really solid in his own end. Blocks shots, clears the front, and plays the body with regularity and some snarl. Is starting to show progress as an offensive zone player displaying a cannon from the back end. Has shown more confidence in jumping up in the play. Is more than willing to be a total team guy and stand up for his teammates. A sleeper who might surprise.  Big, raw, defensively solid, edgy defender who has seems to have gotten lost in the pile of high-end Swedish defensemen. Makes a hard first pass out of his end. 2. How about Sampo Ranta ? He already models his game after Eichel.

    PROFILE

    • IN HIS SOPHOMORE SEASON WITH THE SIOUX CITY MUSKETEERS OF THE USHL, RANTA FINISHED THIRD ON THE TEAM IN GOALS AND SECOND IN POINTS (TIED) AFTER PRODUCING 23-14—37 IN 53 GP.

    • RANTA WAS A MEMBER OF FINLAND’S GOLD MEDAL-WINNING TEAM AT THE 2018 UNDER-18 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP (1-1—2 IN 7 GP) AND REPRESENTED HIS COUNTRY AT THE 2017 IVAN HLINKA MEMORIAL (1-1—2 IN 4 GP).

    • MODELS HIS STYLE OF PLAY AFTER SABRES FORWARD JACK EICHEL

    • HAS COMMITTED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN FOR THE 2018-19 SEASON.

  3. How the hell are they both still available. It's like Christmas.

Do it all? He's a big winger with decent skating who has good hands around the net. Pass.

Kimmelman calls him Blake Wheeler, guy from sporting news says he's a true power forward with a very high ceiling, the hell are you talking about?

  4. Maybe he's tired of losing and being in last place every year. I don't blame him.

Everyone in sports hates losing, everyone of these guys are competitors, only the selfish express that to the media. No need to give them even more fuel to the fire and the words he said also linger with others in the locker room, that's what creates bad environments in the first place.
