I’d have to think the 3rd pairing LHD job and RHD job are up for grabs.

There is some analytics based data that shows Doan and Danforth are better at recovering dump ins and have better fancy stats.
Doan does the potential to be a Middle Six Forward.

Voices? Don’t talk back to them, they don’t like that.

Prediction, there are rumblings that Lindy is not a Malenstyn Fan
I had no issues with Malenstyn’s play other than he doesn’t score much. He was high energy, good on puck battles, throwing his body around so no wonder Ruff doesn’t like him, he’s not a cream puff like Power.
Also where are you getting this information from?

It won’t move the needle for them. They are like the 80s-90s Blues. Always good enough to get in but not good enough to get to where they want to go ultimately
Perhaps but they’re never content. They get knocked out of the playoffs come back and trade for Miller, sign the big fish FA in Ehlers.
The Sabres are going on 15 years no playoffs yet sign a backup to what should be a backup goalie, some players for the AHL and trade away our 3rd leading goal scorer to finally get tougher to play against in Adams 6th year. .

We’ve got Bo for two more years regardless, right? The Goal is to make the playoffs before then so no need to panic trade. My return would be a power forward with nastiness and a defenseman with attitude. If not, he stays a Sabre.
Who is the player? I'm trying to think.. Timo Meir comes to mind but I doubt the Devils are trading him. I'm going from roster to roster trying to find realistic options and it's rough.

I suspect Kyrou would hate every day in Buffalo. If he has any control of it he would not agree to Buffalo, although he is friends with Tage.
Yeah now that July 1st and no trade clauses kicked in we most definitely have no shot but before that he had no choice if i read that correctly.
-
I went with a bridge deal but the Sabres really screwed this 1 up if we could have landed Kyrou from St. Louis and Rasmus Anderson from Calgary. That would have been an upgrade to the offense and at worst the same player on defense.
I wonder if there’s a forward out there who has NO, no movement clause that we can trade a conditional 1st and a 2nd in 2027 to.

I thought he responded well to the questions asked. He wasn't evasive or defensive. He gave clear and succinct answers to the questions. I thought his answer regarding Docker and why he was not signed was reasonable and made sense. He pointed out that his arbitration comps would be higher than how they valued him. I have been critical of him as a GM but I don' see why this clip should provoke any criticism. I'm not going to read too much into this interview and come away with any negative or positive feelings. It was a standard presentation that most GMs do.
I don't really care what he has to say any longer, show us the baby or gtfo.

More mismanagement by this regime. I find it hard to believe nobody is offering anything of significance other than futures for Byram. This guy is a 1 dimensional defenseman who only plays at a high level with Dahlin. The thing is Dahlin did fine even with lunkhead Samuelsson as his partner. Find a Dante Fabbro type player for Dahlin and trade Byram for a much needed top forward. If we go into the season as is there is no way you can tell me we got better without Peterka.

I’ve gone five years now without spending a dime on this sh*tshow franchise and I haven’t had one second of regret.
I just hope at this point to see a Stanley Cup before I'm dead... A guy can dream!

Because this can’t be it.
Other then “I will save you $$$ and take all the bullets” I can’t see how this plan convinced Terry to let another year of this 💩 to go on.
It has to be all about the money even though running a competent organization that won a few playoff rounds, filled the barn and increased merch sales would be more beneficial for Terry.
Clearly at this point.
I've decided to penny pinch as well.... Going on 4 years and counting of not going to any games nor buying a single purchase of Sabres merchandise.

Kulich is the No. 1 center. He is making this team.
The reason for the 3 years deals for both Kozak and Johnson is to try to avoid them getting claimed if management has to send one of them down.
Odds are that one or more injuries in camp will make sending Kozak or Johnson down moot.
And this right here is why these kids feel so entitled here, on what planet has Juri Kulich earned the #1 C role? 24 points/ -4 in 62 games now earns you the top line center role? No wonder nobody tries hard, very few of these young guys are even earning the jobs given to them. Oh Levi...give him the backup goalie role for no good reason, Kulich... give him top line C, Benson... give him top 6. These guys need to work from the bottom and prove their worth otherwise we'll have a Peterka situation every single year.

Who's ranked 4th overall in next year's draft? Cause that's who we are getting (unless we win the lottery) barring any still to come radical changes that are positive.
You should know this by now, were selecting 8th, then we will lose a spot in the lottery and select 9th.

My point is we need Greenway's traits in the top 6.I'd love that as well. I wanted Temo Meir when he was available.

I reamember when we signed him last offseason and being genuinely pumped about him thinking these were the types of players playoff teams add and he was a complete dud for us.

I just don't understand this... Ryan Johnson when they first brought him up looked like he could hold his own, he had some mistakes for sure but I thought they'd ride him out and then he never saw the light of day again yet Bryson continues to impress these coaches?

Yarmenko was beaten so bad he stopped throwing punches... I approve of this!!!!

I'm not going to lie I didn't even know this guy was on any roster of ours before I read this.
Decent stats for the Americans... 6 G 17 A 23 P +9 ... Another 3 A in the playoffs in 8 games. Doesn't do anything for us here but should help out Rochester which is always a good thing.

He even has a highlight video.

I just hate that Greenway is on this team I’m sorry. I have no use for him.
ZERO offense. Can’t fight. Doesn’t do it enough.
Great on the PK I guess.
We need a more skilled version of him.
I'm not sure what you were watching last season but before Greenway got injured he was hitting, fighting, getting points, playing on the PK, not sure what the beef is with him. Name 1 fighter in that group.... There is 0, We should definitely add 1 but we wont because we love to see our best players laying on the ice and have to be told in meetings to stand up for teammates.
-
Even if we make a big splash move it will be at the expense of Byram, so we will be where we were with Peterka but then the defense will then be another leaky faucet once again and It's the blind leading the blind over there.
