The series of Sabres management teams has been inept. That’s why this team stinks. Crappy trades, joke signings, and a decade of terrible drafts and development. You have about 6-8 competent and skilled hockey players. When this number gets past 15 we will start winning.

Playing a team fighting for its playoff life? Gee what could go wrong here? Haven’t faced that one yet!?

Honestly what else can we do? There is about 1.5 lines worth of quality NHL players. We are not going to trade our way out of this. Plus we are stuck with albatross contracts. There is nowhere else to go but draft and develop. This team is 2-3 years before we can think playoffs IF we draft well for a couple of years.

The only hope is to draft our way out of this. I have absolutely no hope to be competitive for another couple of years ....if we draft right. Preferably hit top 3 the next few years.

I dunno man I have never seen such complete ineptitude in my life. It is astonishing. This is the worst franchise in the NHL. Even the Coyotes are in it still.

So... Columbus, Nashville, Ottawa, and Detroit. Will the Sabres win another game this year or will we finish the last 6 weeks of the season without a win in regulation?

Our last regulation win was February 23 against Washington. It’s about to be April. Let that sink in.
