This is about where I'm at. Only I won't mention that thing that rhymes with rank on a GDT out of respect to the non ( the thing that rhymes with wankers ) who prolly just don't care to hear about it. And I agree with Tankalicious about the reporters. Idiots. Everybody knows you don't stank on purpose.
Completely agree with you guys regarding the media discussing it with players. However when nucci and some others strongly state their opinions of what they think of pro tankers then I don't feel so bad bringing it up. I guess I'll try keeping this taboo topic out of gdt. Last word is I hope some that don't believe in the tank realize that pro tankers are not bad fans and want what you ultimately want, a stanly cup in buffalo.

I thought there would be more pro tankers. Guess I'm one of the few in good spirits with the result.
Flames and oil tied after 2. A three point game there would help.
Call me a terrible fan or whatever you want to. After seeing our offense yet again tonight I'm all in on Mcdavid. Tired of not having a superstar in this city.

Yep. It's not ok if we miss out on McEichle. Could we still end up being a good hockey team based on the prospect pool we already have? Sure. But let's not pretend that we will be a better team by drafting someone other than those two after this season.

That is a good question. I have the OHL Network as part of the Sports Package I have so when the season rolls on a bit I will try to find time to watch atleast a few games of the top OHL prospects.

Ya the scratch won't count towards his 9 but what is he doing up here to sit in the pressbox? Maybe the Sabres want him to get some extra practices in with the team and stretch his stay with Buffalo before sending him down a month or so before the World Juniors?

Although I agree that all should avoid big pro or anti tank discussions in GDT, I would still like to keep the tank pictures if the Sabres lose. Man some of the ones Physics came up with were hilarious.
Why the ###### is Zad up here if he's not playing?! Seriously, I don't think Pysyk's injury is too long term so if he can't crack the lineup now then he never will when Pysyk is healthy. Send his ass to London.

Thanks for not naming names Ink. If not for running into someone who didn't change his lineup I'd seriously be concerned about running the table and going 0-14. Should have made this an annual keeper league, atleast then I could take the Connor McDavid of FF next year.

I agree with Tank on this one. You know what brings good players to Buffalo? Winning hockey games and if anyone has to be traded to continue this rebuild then so be it. If the rebuild goes according to play then nobody will care in 3 years what happened to Chris Stewart.

Thanks for the explanation. I was thinking in the Blue league it might be a reasonable idea to just drop your worst player for someone playing on say Wed. Then drop him for someone playing on Thurs etc.

Ok this sounds really dumb but I'm going to ask it anyways since this is my first year. If your usual guys arn't playing on a certain day you should put your bench players in their place right? Therefore, you pretty much always want the max players going that you can. I assume goaltending may be slightly more discretionary based on your averages.

Well said. The players and coaches absolutely will be trying to win every game. I can't even imagine TN not or else he would likely up and quit. But as you said, this comes down to Tim Murray. Who in the past has openly stated he can adjust his team at the trade deadline to ensure a successful tank. In Tim I trust and I think the Grigo case is only the first in sending guys to Roch in favour of 'player development'.

Sure there are fairweather fans of the Sabres (like anywhere). But I feel the Buffalo fan base has a great understanding of their current team. Look to the Prospects glorified scrimmage in June as an example. Sure it was free but the house was well over half full and it was only the young guns out there. People recognize the future of this team is in those prospects.

That's a similar situation to what happened with Grigo when he was sent back last year. Although I'm sure if London has the opportunity to get Zad back this year they will do what they have to do to make room for him.
