  1. I just don’t think Rosen is going to fetch Rust. 9-12 I don’t think is a big deal
  2. Rust - Kulich - Thompson Benson - Norris - Tuch Zucker - McLeod - Doan Greenway - Krebs - Quinn .. better? edit - personally I think it makes a substantial difference. At least a positive start. If I could do 9 for Rust straight up (they keep 12, we keep Helenius) I’d jump on it
  3. I’m sort of annoyed the reports say we’d be angling for like a 12th overall pick back in moving 9. Just a complete refusal to commit trade the pick outright, then you don’t have to add
  4. I didn’t want them to move Peterka at all. We are a forward short without him(and presumably even were, with him, given your eval on him) - you just said it. But, there’s a reasonable chance at this point they are happy switching Peterka out for Doan, and the big add being Kesselring I think we should prepare for the possibility Kesselring is the big add. we do know Adams really liked him
  5. I usually see Quinn on right but ya on the left a lot too. Not worried about the functionality there merely the overall talent and aptitude of the group
  6. I’m inclined to agree - but I do think if we are going to pry that asset it will have to come from Byram or the 9 overall. Could be down 50% of those assets shortly
  7. The blinding light brigade Cozens et al
  8. ^ could easily be the roster if Adams feels he isn’t getting enough for 9 and just keeps it. Byram market weak so he extends him and attempts to go with D as the strength
  9. Well I’d imagine one of Thomson Tuch Quinn and Doan will need to play off wing unless one is on line 4. And even then, someone needs to take JJ’s spot. Don’t see Tuch or Thompson going over and Doan is Doan. I’d imagine Quinn is in the top 6 (or at least top 9) on the left if we don’t add another top 6 F
  10. Quinn - Kulich - Thompson Benson - Norris - Tuch Zucker - McLeod - Doan Greenway - Krebs - Malenstyn Byram - Dahlin Power - Kesselring Samuelsson - Clifton UPL Levi
  11. Quinn - Kulich - Thompson Benson - Norris - Tuch Zucker - McLeod - Doan
  12. Adams ace in the hole this offseason
  13. Contract is fine. - - - on a more macro level complete with perspective: We were told Adams couldn’t improve the team or spend to cap for 5 years to save room for our RFAs. Peterka is gone. Quinn signed for 3 million. Looking into whether the strategy was a good one now.
  14. Consensus online is it’s a little high. I wonder if that means they expect to have cap space
  15. Shot across the bow
  16. I’d agree with the bold if not for the poll stipulating that only the now should be considered as for the rest I generally agree - it’s not that they never leave themselves a chance for success, it’s that it’s as you say a razor thin margin, unacceptable of a team who absolutely owes it to fans to be putting things in best situation possible
  17. Anakin and Vader have always been the same person. “There’s still good in him” totally loses meaning if not. Some people act as if Vader is literally a different entity. It’s a story of a son redeeming his father -not a son banishing an evil entity holding his father captive. There’s no emotional power there and it severely cheapens Anakin’s character and downfall All stems from “Vader betrayed and murdered your father” in episode four (which, again at the time the script was written was actually what happened) the “from a certain point of view it did happen” was literally a plot work around. Which over time and fan theory became “Vader is literally a new, dark entity that murdered his old self” edit - oh, uhhhh, Josh Doan Levi likes Star Wars, whichever. Staying on topic.
  18. Absolutely - that’s my point the admittance of the actual experience
