The USA needs to leverage their speed. Dump and chase wont work with the Russian d playing so far inside their line. They need to use the open ice on the sides to generate speed races that I think we can win.

I think it requires better skating defensemen and centers that back check. The Russians are backchecking well.Not me.. I think it marginalizes the defense.

I found the mobility comment interesting as well. Looking at Karlson as his prototype, I wonder if our stable is to his taste. Could make for interesting horse trading.In listening....it sounds like he pretty much says, you get guys with hockey sense and who think the game, who have character...you're going to get possession. Again..it's about finding the qualities that drive the numbers. Anyone can spit out a spreadsheet....can you find me the guys ahead of time so that I can tell you what will be on that spreadsheet?
I like Murray's frankness. He says point blank he is not full of bubbles and sunshine, but at least he can communicate that to people. Interesting take on what he wants on defense. Mobility #1.
Actually it makes more sense for the owners to help a devoted fan base because you get a return long after the help is gone. Fla, Phx, the fan base are outliers. Buf, Det, Boston it is a way of life. There is more low hanging fruit where hockey is a part of life. Hell la was struggling to sell the box seat packages for the outdoor game and they are two years removed from a parade.I agree with this. I do think that the stuff Sizzle is referencing happens, but I think they'd help Florida before us.

I have an Asus Infinity and love it. One coonsideration is video. Alot of sites still use flash that doesn't play well with Android. The other consideration is to use the same or similar os as her phone. You maximize the utility of the apps.

That should be easy, I mean defensive minded centers that score 20 goals are a dime a dozen.I'd trade anyone in this organization other than Ristolainen, Zadarov, Girgensons, and Hodgson for a defensive minded center who could pot 20 goals.

I caught the Michigan v Nebraska Omaha tilt on Friday. Compher had a goal and assist. You can tell he is feeling his way as a frosh, but he has great instincts in the offensive zone and a good set of hands.
