Dahlin now with more points in his rookie season than Orr. Nice accomplishment - Orr did play a fair few less games.

Sure... but Orr never faced a slider, errrr... a video-scouted defense against his rush, or a neutral zone trap, etc.  Dahlin is really smooth and makes it look easy. He's my new Lando. Rasmus Dahlissinian.

Still catching up to the live game, but Olofsson is a sure shot, shooting.

I want to --- let you know I'm disappointed you weren't there for me and Shmi mum as a child and I grew up maladjusted, because you were too busy influencing the midichlorians to create me as a vergence in the Moulson and too busy taking over  being the Senate and influencing me to anger, instead of being an actual father, so I'll eventually --- kill you... by throwing you over a railing in the Death Star II.

On another tangent I guess.  This dam internet radio keeps playing commercials about “Manscaping”.  Really?  Who the hell is going to do that?   What’s wrong with people?

You can't plant live people in the yard, regardless of gender. That's dangerous, negligent, and quite possibly illegal (depending on local laws and if they die because of the elements or being suffocated).

We feel better because they had a loss-“lite” vs embarrassing loss.  Hopefully JBot doesn’t say “look progress”.  Really.  They’ve lost 8 in a row.  Humiliating!

Oh yes, we're still a pathetic team in a terrible season. Housley still needs to go. But for tonight --- we didn't lose 5-1 or 4-0 --- and we looked like we belonged in the same league. And.... we got to 9 pages during the game broadcast. Drinks all around.

Edit: And don't look now, but the Wings are looking to put distance between them and us, if you follow the tank standings. I threatened a friend who is a Wings fan that that final game of the season might just be for 4th-best lottery odds the way the Wings were playing. At this rate, the Wings can rest their starters for that one.

  5. You know.... no moral victories... but if you lose a game like that... fine. Win some/lose some. That was well played, entertaining, and a cohesive hockey team. It came down to a high stick goal against and a goal for disallowed on a (non-existent) touch up on the delayed penalty.

Oh... ok, I didn't miss that one, then.

  7. Mitts couldn't keep that puck in the zone, but I've liked his game tonight. Has kept a few pucks in the O-zone, good tenacity and quickness in puck battles. He needed a season in ROC, but he's got a high-energy about him tonight that will look good once he gets a little bigger and stronger. Sadly, Nylander hasn't really shown anything tonight....

That wasn't so bad looking at the time.  Few live TV moments will beat Malarchuk's.

People love big hits and mangled knees are often hard to catch at live speed in the NFL. But a good amount of the population gets very squeamish once blood is displayed. Hockey's skates and stick blades provide a very different type of wound.

C'mon Sabres! We're playing spirited hockey, so keep the pressure up!

I don't know if anyone remembers me complaining about my Center Ice feed freezing at the commercial breaks. NHL.TV support was totally useless but I figured out it has something to do with my Microsoft Edge browser not liking the new 60 frame/per sec feed. Under settings you can switch back to god old fashioned Flash player. So I did.

Firefox has worked really well all season (pre- and post-Flash).

Nice! Just as I was about to type that they had a great couple shifts except everything was to the outside.... but then the goal!

I don't think the games are on tape delay though.

They've gotta have a slight delay (10 seconds or so), though --- in case something horrible horrible happens. It's not truly a live feed. There's enough time for the direction team to adjust the angles, etc., before it comes to us. Is anyone in TV production in our Space?

Their PKers are fresher than our PPers. Some good pressure very early on until a shot from the point with no one in front. And then... less-than-inspired.
