Nah. Once you make the pick you fall for the pick. The time to trade Eichel was before the first round picks were made. I thought that we could trade Eichel for just as much as Yoda. I was wrong.

He's a ppg U20 on team Sweden, so a top line guy. He needs to bulk up and fill out. Definitely a longer-term project. In 3 years, hopefully he suddenly appears as a 3RW who scores like a 2RW.

Tiny minutes this past season. But he goes to the net. He's 2-3 years away, but his instincts and game are in the right place. He's a JJ Peterka light. .... If we didn't have so many other needs, I'd like this more. But if he get to 185#, he could be really, really solid.

If we believe in our goalie prospects, go forward. There's only so many reps/games available for goalies. Take a flier in the 4th/5th on the goalie Rasmus Korhonen.

Yup. As we move out of the top 10... It's quite possible: let Granato coach Eichel. Let Reino increase his trade value for the deadline. Let Power increase his skills at Michigan. And go all offensive for this season. Try to win every game 6-4.
