  1. um yeah about that study.... http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/06/10/wow-journalist-attempts-to-debunk-anti-gun-groups-list-of-school-shootings-in-america-since-sandy-hook-heres-what-he-found/ Total BS, they doctored the data to alter the results to support their argument. Moving along...
  2. My God they have this @$$hole pierre McGuire on the ice trying to tell the Rangers coaching staff how to play defense...Again can someone please tell me who is this @$$hole and why is he on a national telecast with any credibility? Karma is indeed, a b!tch!! http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/pierre-mcguire-thought-penguins-gm-job-was-his-184235346.html To think we were so close to no longer hearing McGuire as commentator !!!
  3. For all those that want to empty Gitmo and let those "misunderstood" "unjustly held" "men" go free, here you go...The Taliban is still alive and well, active to this day. The last thing we need is an infusion of hardcore islamic radicals into their ranks... http://www.businessinsider.com/r-well-trained-and-armed-taliban-tried-to-hijack-plane-in-pakistan-2014-09
  4. You really think so? I say if an American got caught doing that, he would most likely be executed... so maybe we SHOULD treat them like Americans, eh? ;)
  5. He is right, though. They are not American citizens. The constitution does not apply to them legally. If we let them go, what do you think they will do? I can think of a couple less American solutions, like our buddy Vlad for example. What would Vlad do? I think I know LOL! :) You ARE a great American Eleven, just the fact we can still freely debate this is great, just because we disagree doesn't mean anything...
  6. @TrueBluePhD- I am not saying you implied he was a racist, however your defending those that did does not in any way help your cause...and the fact that his middle name is muslim in nature does not make a difference. It is his middle name (read the birth certificate!) and if we the taxpaying public want to use it in conjecture we should be able to without snarky racist attacks from supporters of the president. I mean, who the hell is in the wrong here? Who is injecting race into this debate at this point? The only people I see injecting race are the attackers, not the people getting sniped! Also, the fact that you said using his middle name opens you up to attack does not help your cause either. What happened to open debate? Racism is the lowest form of slander, I would think someone like you (assuming your stated credentials are really what they are, I am not saying they aren't but I have no way of knowing) would be above this crap and also know better... It should not be law, it should be second nature and common sense for adults in this country to not label someone a racist just because you disagree with them And I think you are right. Good catch bud!
  7. I think he was pissed off about a convo a couple days ago in the bergdahl thread where he got jumped by some lib posters when he used Obama's middle name. They subsequently implied he was a racist... I would be pissed too if I were him, totally uncalled for
  8. For all of you who feel sorry for Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi being waterboarded for 45 seconds... http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=299_1320002757 Yes, that was him "servicing" Mr. Berg... Here is Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi "servicing" Owen Eugene Armstrong... I am sooooo glad he is in NYC getting a fair trial, I understand he is not a US citizen, and I know he had his reasons for decapitating people on YouTube but still... Give the man a break eh? http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=46327ba5c5 Oh, and lets not forget Mr. Jack Hensley... Yeah, Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi did that too. I am quite sure he had a good reason... http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=e6a8846b95 Maybe he should take up yoga...
  9. So letting them play video games in a Lay-Z-Boy because they refuse to eat is inhumane? These bastards get better medical treatments than our vets do at the VA!! What would happen to one of our guys if they were captured by the islamic radicals? If you dont know, google Nicholas Berg. We treat those @$$ holes like royalty compared to that... Gitmo is necessary, this is not a candyland world anymore, these bastards want to kill us, rape and murder our wives/girlfriends, and enslave our children. They look at "compassionate" attitudes like you have as weakness and it inspires them. They dont deserve a US court of law because they are NOT American citizens, therefore the Constitution does not apply, and because we cannot risk exposing intel assets to the exposure a trial would facilitate. Not to mention the defendant knowing who our intel sources are and being allowed to walk free if he wormed his way out on a technicality...
  10. Vitriol aside, it is deeply disturbing that our president is acting like this. Those prisoners are comparable to Nazi war criminals in the way they behaved to get put in there. These are not a bunch of dudes convicted or car jacking, these are hardened Al-Qaeda terrorists who, in some cases have gone so far as to commit small scale genocide... Hardly worthy of a "pardon for yoga"... However I hardly doubt that is the reason Obama wants them out, I think he simply wants to shut gitmo down, but cannot get the votes so is now doing this in a veiled attempt to empty the prison, and in the process intentionally pissing off Republicans and daring them to call for impeachment, knowing they don't have the votes in the senate (yet) to follow through and throw him out of office. In the process, unfortunately for us, our security and the security of our troops overseas is now being compromised. Hope and change!
  11. Beautiful... http://nypost.com/2014/06/07/no-reform-too-absurd-for-obama-to-spring-gitmo-detainees/
  12. Good read... http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/06/06/the-last-american-soldier-executed-for-desertion.html
  13. I disagree. Example, One of them (name escapes me) leveled an entire village in 1999 and destroyed all their crops, and in the process killed thousands (village population at the time less than 30,000. It has never recovered.). If I remember the news report correctly, the "crime" was they were not sharia compliant and not paying the Taliban "dues" from their crop yields and profits. .. Sounds pretty reasonable right?
  14. They are wanted for crimes against humanity by the UN War Crimes Tribinal...
  15. First of all, the explosion of big government is the problem, and Bush is as much to blame as Obama is. Second, I trust those soldier's words 100% more than ANYTHING that comes out of the government. They ate with him, slept with him, went into harms way with him. The soldiers in his platoon and company know what the real deal is. The bottom line is that Obama let loose 5 of the most dangerous terrorists known to man at the moment, and all of us are at greater risk now than we were before. Bergdahl is a sideshow, a legal issue and hopefully he is the one good thing that comes out of this mess (if he is convicted in a court of law the right way, with a fair trial that he is rightfully entitled to, and is shot by a firing squad, then that is the only good I can see.)
  16. @ MattPie: I don't consider ANYBODY except foreign entities who are out for the destruction of the USA an "enemy". ALL Americans; Liberal, Libertarian, Conservative, etc. have a right for their voice to be heard. Just because we disagree on politics doesn't mean we cannot get along and have a beer. My father in law is a radical hard left extremist who is a friend and collegue of Jeremiah Wright, and has had lunch with Michelle Obama. I consider him a great man and a true friend. Barack Obama was completely transparent during his 2008 campaign about his intentions, the people just didn't listen. He is the most far left president we have ever had. This explosion of domestic surveillance and the like are the result of Liberalism, big govt and the corruption that ensues as a result of said big govt....
  17. I was just down in New Orleans, and the Saints were having their OTAs. You had to pay EVERY day (unless the practice was indoors, if it rains they move indoors) and if you were on the field outdoors watching, it was almost unbearably hot. You literally had to bring an umbrella and a cooler of ice water to not pass out. It was so hot if you drank ANY beer out there you would get an immediate headache. My whole family lives out there in the Rochester area, I am thinking about going to a Saturday practice or maybe even a night practice. Looks intriguing! :)
  18. I just hate the elevation of ideology over national interests. I don't care if you are a right wing extremist or a left wing extremist, extremists in general have no place doing 4 year stints on Pennsylvania Ave, and this is just one of many examples that demonstrate why...
  19. it sure leaves a lot more questions than answers, that is for sure...
  20. I know some were speculating about MAYBE one of the Al-Qaeda terrorist involved in the "trade" were a plant, or maybe some covert plan was involved that MAY help us down the road. My question is, If that is the case, then WHY THE HELL are the DEMS piling on criticism as well?
