How about the libs stop pulling the class warfare card/racism card everytime they don't get their way? Racism is the most vile, disgusting assertion you can make about a person in this country, like Nazi is in Europe, yet it is thrown around like dollar bills in a strip club. Enough is enough, these race hustlers like al Sharpton and jesse Jackson should go down to tax cheat Charlie rangel's resort and leave us all the hell alone, the damage is done! I agree, I wish we could throw all of them all out, and start fresh with new parties and no existing politicians, new fresh faces and new ideas. This two party system is broken, time for a fresh start

Before I speak, I want to put it out there that I am not a Republican, Bush pretty much ruined it for me. But I am a Conservative, with a Libertarian streak in me to make things interesting... The idea that the Repubs of the 1860's are like the Demoncats of today is an easy assertion on the surface, however you have to dig deeper into the issue to get the truth. The Democratic party has evolved over the years into the most corrupt political organization in the world, with only the Republicrats to follow, and second only because they do not hold the White House. They are truly more evil than their predecessor because of the virus of radical communism that infected them in the 1960's in the way of Bill Ayers and clowns like that. They have completely hijacked the party, taking total advantage of the racial unrest of the period (the civil rights movement) to establish new planks for the party and to fortify their base with an evolving agenda of government handouts to keep the lower class in their place, on public assistance and dependent on the government for survival. Then, they (smartly) dictated the dialogue over time, demonizing the Republicrats and making everyone think that they hate poor people, and that only the demoncats have the best interests of the poor and middle class in mind. They really WANT the maximum amount of people possible on public assistance because it expands their base, BENEFITING THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. If they really wanted to help the downtrodden, they would invest all the money they spend on handouts into job training, i.e. trade schools, to get all these poor folks out of the bread line and into decent jobs. There are a hundred things they could do with that money spent on handouts that would help all these folks, and, in turn help all of us as a nation. Just remember, the weaker the middle and lower class the worse off all of us are!

He is simply trying to point out how little people actually know about our history, and saying without saying how the media and society in general just wont acknowledge the role the Democrat party really played in our civil rights movement. People only know the good they did for our country, not the bad. To get the full picture and form an accurate opinion, you need to consider all the facts, not just the ones THEY want you to take into consideration...

The Democrat Party (and their P.R. firm the mainstream media, most notably MSNBC & NBC) likes to remember that they were the party that was the catalyst of political action during the civil rights movement, but not bring up that they were the political catalyst of segregation and jim crow laws. The Republicans are an inept, sold out and washed up pathetic excuse for a political party and is quickly going the way of the Whigs. Evidence of this is Marco Rubio, John Boehner and John McShame's and their scheme to secure Democrat national election victory for the next 20-30 years. If they were a real party, this would be common knowledge to everybody.

What is really quite disheartening is the fact that the media simply refuses to report on the absolute abysmal tragedy in both Chicago and Detroit. The casualty numbers on some weekends exceeds the casualty numbers in Afghanistan. This is absolutely unacceptable, and the media should be UTTERLY ASHAMED at how they are not covering this topic. Just imagine if white kids were murdering each other at such an alarming rate in Pales Verdes, or Huntington or Brockport or Livonia... You think that would get any coverage?
