Apparently other teams wanted Sulzer but his loyalty kept him in Buf. Definitely an attribute of leadership. He also plays well with the Hoff. He will do good this year but we will lose him to either the deadline or his loyalty will run out playing in Roch. Either way it will DR's doing and some people will even rationalize it.

This time instead of getting the wrong guys we took nobody. The result is the same. There will never be a perfect market. If all the other teams minus one found a way to improve we could've as well.

I disagree. Stafford will not improve and should be moved prior to the start of training camp. Plenty of people believe he is capable of what he has shown last year. I believe we could have gotten something meaningful from say Nsh or Edm. Plus the subtraction of Stafford is an addition in itself. That coupled with the over paying just about every team did would about guarantee a decent return.
