Oh yeah, that one felt very good. I don't even feel bad about starting Alex Smith in the Sabrespace league.
-
Except the team actually has a fullback. The 4th highest paid fullback in the NFL, at that.
-
Sure is nice when the sieve belongs to the opponent's o-line instead of ours.
-
It is pretty shocking to look good in the first quarter. This is Tyrod's first game of the season with a 1st quarter TD.
-
Wow, a 1st quarter TD!
-
You and I both.
-
That's what I did. I just kept forgetting to pick a team before Thursday (stupid that it doesn't let you pick after the Thursday game).
-
Um, you're thinking of the third one.
-
Peterman is only the second QB since the 1930s to throw 5 picks on fewer than 15 attempts. Archie Manning did it in 1973, in a 62-7 loss.
-
Not me. I'll take "me too" any day over the popularity contest that is likes.
-
I despise liking posts. One of the worst fads in social media, IMO.
-
And another way to put it: Peterman has thrown more picks in 9 attempts than Tyrod has thrown in 256.
-
A punt! Progress! Next drive, maybe a first down. Drive after that, the comeback is on.
-
Maybe he's been on the tank train all season long, like we were saying in the preseason, but he didn't want the bad press of a tank.
-
Yup. :wallbash:
-
Who knows, Peterman could get pulled before he throws another pick. I still win. :P
-
I'm gonna take the under. I know, I'm brave. Or insane. We'll see which reality decides upon.
-
So, so Billsy.
-
The Chargers are #6 in DVOA against the pass. However, they're only 22nd against the rush. I hope McCoy's on his game.
-
I did in my non-PPR league. And when he went down, I picked up Tyrod. Who will I jinx next?
-
Not if the defense of the last few weeks shows up.
-
I disagree. His deep throws almost never look good to me unless the coverage is blown and the receiver has time to adjust. His numbers aren't terrible on deep throws because he's usually too afraid to throw it deep unless his receivers are wide open.
-
Perhaps in the long run, but I find it unlikely to happen in the immediate future, which is what's most important given our playoff hopes in a weak AFC this year.
-
We've held Crosby pointless in 4 out of 36 career games against us, if my quick count is correct. I knew it was bad, but dang.
-
Well, it turned out that starting the Bills D/ST was, in fact, worse than starting no D/ST. Also, thanks Cam Newton for saving me from my worst score of the season with a 43.66 point performance.
