I'm glad they won. At 2-2, I was definitely worried. But it's great to see production out of the rookies. 4 out of the 5 goals tonight, in fact.

Okay, I just checked. After starting out 6-0-2 on the road, Montreal is 3-15-2 since.

Neither team has been able to score more than 3 goals, with 4 of the 5 matches thus far decided by a score of 3-2. Tonight is the night that changes. Montreal has been pathetic on the road after starting out undefeated in 8 games (I think, I'd have to check to be sure). Buffalo is just as good at home as on the road. Again going with a 4-1 prediction.

I believe that's how it's meant to be in the specific case of one team being penalized two players in OT.

Sweet! Heh, meaningless, but that adds another OT win to Miller's undefeated OT repertoire.

FYI, Miller is 12-3 with a 1.79 GAA and .936SV% since returning from injury.

I know I shouldn't, but right now I expect no less than a win over Montreal. Be it in overtime or regulation, I will be disappointed, unless Huet has an unbelievable night, or something happens a la the Rangers game and Biron has to come in cold, if the Sabres do not win tonight. That said, 4-1 Sabres.

I'm happy. Of course everyone prefers to win in regulation, but I'd much rather win this one than lose it. It's a shame that Ottawa scored the way they did, or Miller might have had his first SO of the season.

Great way to start, but don't forget that this is exactly how Pittsburgh's game started as well. 1-0 after 1, and 2-0 during the 2nd.

I guess it was too much to hope that Pitt would win one against Ottawa. 2 shorties... give me a break.
