  1. How long before they just go 3-on-3 the entire time?    Or drop one additional player each period as the game advances until it's just 1-on-1.   Eichel vs McDavid all alone on the ice?  I'd watch.

They need to get rid of the shootout and go 3v3, 2v2, 1v1 for OT, just remove a player every 4 minutes.

  2. That's exactly what I was talking about with Kane last night. Awesome hustle and play to steal the puck back and keep it in, but then he fanned on the pass. It's not a big deal at all, and was a great play by him, but I had thought his hands were better than they are. Again, I love Evander, just had a different perception of him.

He missed like half of last season I thought, probably just shaking off the rust still.

  3. So, I found a fix for the Kodi issue. I guess there's a problem with some cache file, if you can find the file, you can just delete it and everything should work. I guess you have to do this every time though.

Someone forked the add-on repository on github and fixed the issue: https://github.com/TheCookieMonster70/plugin.video.nhl-gamecenter/tree/TheCookieMonster70

You can click the "Download Zip"

    Then in Kodi

    Go to System->Add-Ons

Click the ... at the top

    Click Install from Zip

Navigate to wherever you downloaded the zip file to and then click on it.

After that you should see the live game feeds listed.

  4. I had to watch the game delayed tonight.

Glad Kane finally got his first one again! Girgs should really get an assist for that.

Was that Ennis or Vanek in the shootout?

Eichel had an awesome faceoff win and then beat everyone except the goaltender.

I sure as heck am enjoying watching this team way more than last year, no longer giving up 40+ shots every game.

  5. I play at the WBS Penguins practice facility. You'll really enjoy it. It's so nice to have really good ice to play on. Only trouble for my is worrying about getting shot walking through the parking lot, as the rink is in the worst ghetto in Wilkes Barre. San Diego must be nicer lol.

Yeah, can't wait to try out some good ice, definitely don't have to worry about getting shot, it's in a fancy industrial park surrounded by an expensive suburban neighborhood...It's about a 30 minute drive for me though.

  6. Had a goal and assist in my game on Monday! The guy I assisted returned the favor, we won 3 - 0, our goalie stopped at least 3 breakaways.

The league I'm playing in now only has 2 teams and we scramble the teams up each week. It's like super beginner league.

A group of us are starting a team to play at a new rink that's opening up to be the San Diego Gulls practice facility. We have our first game of that season this Sunday, I can't wait to check it out, sounds like they put in real NHL boards from the Ducks arena.

  7. Good points, One of the things I didn't like about NHLGC was having to hook my laptop up to the big screen for every game, and then the picture wasn't nearly as smooth. With the Roku, it eliminates that step. But from time to time the Roku doesn't work and it's back to plugging the laptop back in. The ability to replay every game at any time is definitely a plus.

    B-)

There's an XBMC (Kodi.tv) plugin for GameCenter Live for PC. I recommend downloading this if you're on a PC, it lets you stream the 5000kbps 60fps stream that is not available through the web interface.

Once you install Kodi.tv you can get the GCL add on through it's interface, info here: http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:NHL_Gamecenter

You'll need to add your username/password to login I think through the Add-On settings, I think I had to right click it.
