I think you either keep all three, or you trade/lose all three. If we trade anyone of them it shows we are in rebuild mode. If we are in rebuild mode all three have said they don't want to stay. I really don't see this as a keep x trade y and z situation

It seems that the upper talent is good. But drops off to a normal level. It isnt a shallow draft, but it is not nearly as deep as pundits first thought. I would say the top 3 are of the same talent of the 1st over all and the top 10 have the talent of a normal top 5, after that it drops to normal

Eh, 3/4 goals came from leaving a guy 10 foot out unmarked in the slot, those are on the defence imo (one could possibly blame Miller for the first one, but the two ppg are all on the defence). The turnover one is 50/50 Miller played a bad rebound but that was a godawful rebound - if TV had scored it we would be saying how good a move it was, rather than blaming the opposing team's goalie The shoot-out goals are obviously on Miller - especially that last one, he misread the play

Leino has 4 assists in 6 games. He has played well this season. Do you really think this team was better off without him playing for 45 minutes? Even if he is in last years form, the point is we are paying him, so do you think Scott, Kaleta, Porter, Hecht etc. are actually better even strength players than him, so he should be benched? He wasn't the only sabre to take a penalty - how did his benching help the sabres? Not to mention, with Vanek injured, surely you are better off using one of your better passers out there? Also, it is surprising what happens when you play on a line with JT, I could probably put up a decent season on his line and i can't skate to save my life

Just to be clear. The reason the Pens have room for guys like Iginla, is because they only need to pay 1/4 of the salary for them. So collectively they need to $3mil in cap space to get all those guys. And they have no chance of signing Morrow or Iggy, unless they take a pay cut
