  1. You're the one that was dead wrong about Baltimore's defense versus Pittsburgh's and Cleveland actually having WRs, including a guy with 3 straight 100 reception seasons. Look, I'm not arguing that NP is close to TT. But we saw this game with TT last year, at home, against NO. TT has fewer than 100 yards passing, and fewer than 50% completion, against a defense that hemorrhages passing yards. TT in this game probably has us 7 points closer, but still with 0 ourselves. Which is why I cannot fathom any sort of "I told you so." Edit: I'm misremembering Pittsburgh's passing defense last year. BUT Baltimore's secondary is still better.
  2. Like the guy that'll be benched for Cleveland's rookie within 2 weeks? The call from analysts and fans for Baker to play already started an hour ago
  3. This game is up there for me with 56-10, or that 6-3 game. There are probably more my brain is purposely forgetting. Josh ALlen playing roughly 365 days sooner than I had hoped.
  4. Uh, Baltimore's defense is far, far better than Pittsburgh's, and has been for most of recent history. And yes, the Browns have a better WR group than we do. This is also objectively true. And no, he wouldn't be as bad as NP has been. But we'd still be shut out thus far, and he'd have below 50% completion and below 100 yards passing, just like he does today against a worse defense in better playing conditions with better weapons.
  5. That said, Peterman is a special kind of awful!
  6. Tyrod's play so far today doesn't allow me to get angry at all. With far more weapons, against a far worse defense. This game wouldn't look much different at all.
  7. We need a stud WR, a stud DE, 4 new Olinemen, and then a good DE and a good WR behind them, and we need Allen to be legit. We also need secondary depth and a new linebacker. 75 mil in cap space and 10 picks. And some suffering until then. They've given themselves a daunting task
  8. So, is there something we can do to get something for Shady? I don't think Murphy is any worse than him at this point, and Shady costs money
  9. TT was like 2/7 for a couple yards as of a half hour ago So, the OL hasn't been good. But it hasn't been nearly bad enough for Peterman not to own his own failures.
  10. Ducasse continues to be McDermott's most ridiculous obsession
  11. I don't want Allen playing a single second of this season Edmunds has had a nice start.
  12. How much dead money gets freed up this offseason? This hurts my heart
  13. I thought that, and then the Ravens punter kicked it 65 yards in the air. They're just going to be better than us in every possible way lol Hopefully the D has settled down.
  14. Hurry-up offense after our D was on the field for a half hour straight?
  15. Ugly start. That 2nd and 26 coverage was just special.
  16. I made that comment 99% just to drag you out of hiding! But Lamar is the active 2QB today. THey're going to use him in special packages. But if Flacco gets hurt, RG3 starts.
  17. They're both such smart players, have such a good nose for the ball and tackling fundamentals and the like. Hope everyone can stay healthy. I also hope Flacco stubs his toe and it is just problematic enough for him to miss this game, so we get Lamar, who is about as ready to play QB in the NFL as I am IMO
  18. Tremaine needs to focus on not leaning in on the run and jumping into a gap too soon, which was his sole weakness in college. I saw it a lot this preseason and we're going to get carved up if that happens and Star keeps getting pushed back. He did improve as the preseason went on, though, and his pass coverage was very good. I'm worried about Phillip Gaines. Even though it's Flacco throwing, in the rain and wind. That's how much of a drop off he is from EJ last year. I'm worried about a lack of pass rush. I'm excited to watch our safeties.
  19. If Tage's play is indicative of his push that ends up in a roster spot coming into the season, I like the right side of our lineup a lot better.
  20. However bad they may be this year, little brings me closer to home than putting on the Bills for my Sunday afternoon. Let's go boys!
