  1. On a three year deal yes
  2. Anthony Mantha on a short term deal with high AAV might be an idea
  3. They couldn’t promise McGroaty NHL Time this season, which is the reason he wouldn’t sign with the Jets. There might be something to the Necas statement. Per Friedman Columbus was willing to include the Fourth Overall Pick in return for a package from Carolina for Necas with an extension in place. Necas supposedly said no. Peters broke the Eichel Trade as Luke Tuch was his source. Since then not so much
  4. Oh hell yes
  5. One year deal for Patrick Kane in Detroit per LeBrun
  6. They had Helenius ranked higher than Buium on this list
  7. Actually they are second cousins
  8. Per Frank Servalli The Sabres are among the teams expected to make an offer for Patrick Kane
  9. I do not believe Kulich, Rosen or Östlund were at last year’s camp either, but that was for a playoff run for the first two and an injury for the third
  10. The NHL particularly the Board of Governors won’t stand for that. Revenues are dramatically increasing throughout the league and the Sabres are one of the teams that are preventing them from going higher. Large numbers of unsold tickets night after night is unsettling to the higher revenue teams who have to share with the Sabres. Being in the bottom five teams in actual dollars spent on salaries over the past few seasons hasn’t gone unnoticed either. Arizona, the Senators Ownership Situation and to a lesser extent the Sabres futility were on the NHL’s Radar. Two of the three have been resolved, the final one is coming into focus. Another season of missing the playoffs means the NHL would suggest putting an experienced person into a position of power in the organization, much like they did with Toronto and Brendan Shanahan. Before everyone gets too excited remember Pierre Dorion and Peter Chiarelli fit that description. I do believe that the Skinner Buyout is the first concrete sign that Pegula is willing to spend money. Now Adams needs to make smart decisions in UFA and also complete some trades. Someone In the organization had an unhealthy obsession with Eichel
  11. I thought that every contract containing a M NTC or partial no trade list has a yearly deadline when the list needed to be submitted by the agent to the NHL Central Registry. Friedman and Marek discussed this on a pod and Marek wondered if there would ever be a day when the no trade lists are made public on a site such as Cap Friendly. Friedman quickly shot that down
  12. Peters sent out a tweet saying no one wants to deal with Buffalo after 4 separate teams completed trades with them, so yes this is evidence to the contrary. Not liking the trade doesn’t change the fact that Washington was willing to make a deal with Buffalo.
  13. As @tom webster hinted at, Eillott Friedman speculated on a podcast that the cap may go up to 100 million for 2026-27, the year that the cap hit is the highest.
  14. Me Three Months Ago: That’s a hell of a deal on Jeff Skinner Goathead Jerseys, My Sons will love them. Me Today: Still a hell of a deal for the Jersey
