  1. Why can't carpenter do kickoffs a by the way. They've moved it up so much and he has a great leg on field goals. Work out you goof
  2. A kicker who can get touch backs consistently is really important And you want Dixon for special teams.
  3. I'll find Freddy and injure his other leg I borderline hate Freddy after hearing fans complain the past month I need an eichel goal this week to cure me. My dad told yesterday that after 40 years watching this team, he wouldn't care if they got wiped out in a plane crash. I understand the hatred
  4. No it's not. We had 3 RBs clearly above him on the depth chart. If you think a legitimate option was to keep a veteran like Freddy inactive in case of emergency, then I can't argue with that. Shame on any fan wishing Freddy was here just to be inactive. And if you think he should have been active, then who of McCoy/Williams/Dixon do you make inactive. And two, what make you think Freddy would be healthy if he was active in 4 games. In very limited time with the Seahawks, he's already hurt. So seriously Freddy people. Either (1) you think he should have been inactive in case of emergency (and that is about as classless as it gets. Preventing a veteran from playing with another team so you can leave him inactive). Or (2) you think he should have been on the roster and playing. Who should have been made inactive instead, McCoy or Williams? Dixon plays special teams. Unless you want him as the 4th back and not playing at all. This Freddy crap is the worst. He's always hurt, he's not good anymore, and we have two better RBs...did anyone see how quick he got pushed down the depth chart behind an undrafted rookie in Seattle? Anyone see how quick he's out hurt? Christ I'm sure in the limited time Freddy would get to play this season, assuming he would even be healthy, we won't miss a bit with someone like Herron or Brown. And when our other backs get healthy very soon, the 4th string RB will go back to being irrelevant. Like Freddy would Bills have defined roles for McCoy, Williams, Dixon, and Felton. Why would they keep a 5th back active just to carve out a role for him. He doesn't offer anything that the other backs don't offer. We have enough players we need to make sure get the ball, Freddy is not good enough to require the ball. ***short version: what should the bills have done with Freddy if they kept him. Active or not and what role
  5. I think its clear we aren't privy to the juicy facts
  6. i dont like the new avatar hoss, pick again :P
  7. I think I agree with what you're saying. Absolutely not panic time and I think things will be okay too. Let me say this too. Thought defense played amazing against miami and colts. I thought the defense played good yesterday, not amazing but definitely good. One TD drive was extended by awful penalties. One was a short drive after a turnover when the defense was on the field over and over. And one was a god awful, piece of ###### play with terrible tackling and pursuit. The pats made the defense a joke, but they do that to a lot of teams. Is the defense the problem, no way. Is it time to panic, nope. Have they disappointed a little? Absolutely. Will they get to the level they need to be? I think so Good point to the bold
  8. :wallbash: I don't think anyone is saying that at all. People are saying they have disappointed, and that's more than fair.
  9. If our greatest strength is negated by good QB play......then that's not good for playoffs. It's not good enough to say the bills are doing good enough, and the results aren't there because we're facing the top QBs. Who do you think we will see in the playoffs? Not tannehill. I do think we will see improvement and they will come around, but it's fair to say they have dissapointed. I'm a huge stats guy, but sometimes they gotta take a step back to a clear lack of results.
  10. I thought there were several times he should have run and he didn't. Other times he did run when there wasn't space. His decision making was off, but that's to be expected with a new QB. Not a complaint but an observation
  11. No I was at that game sadly. We crushed the jags in week 2. 2-0 baby
  12. thats stupid.... 1-199, we beat the jaguars after the pats like 14 years ago.
  13. I guess we do. If you fail to see how hundreds of factors go into if a team wins or not, and then to sum it up as "that's the GM's responsibility" then how can anyone argue with that. Players threw 5 interceptions today, we lose, GM's fault because he picked the players. It's not an argument I'm interested in getting in. If you feel you can grade a GM solely by wins-loss record then that is fair, but I just strongly disagree with that. My mom would always blame play calling anytime we lost. No matter what. And its impossible to argue with, because if we scored more, we would have won. It reminds me of that. You always blame the GM it seems, some always blame penalties, some always blame the line, etc. Today there was ###### execution, bad tackling, horrible play calling, penalties galore, and costly mistakes. I don't know who to blame, some it is on the players and coaches for sure. Maybe on whaley some too for having duke williams on the roster. And how can you after 3 games say is anyone starting doubt the "wisdom" of the dareous extension and at the same time admit we had not choice but to keep him. I don't care if dareous flops and and never gets a sack, that isn't the GMs fault. It was a no brainer football decision to keep him. If Eichel is the worst hockey player ever, I don't blame GMTM for drafting him. I'm angry at the game today so sorry if any is coming out at you, not intended. What an absolute crappy game today. The defense extending a TD-drive with awful penalties. The offense driving down the field and then back to back penalties for a 1st and 25. Us driving with enough time and woods fumbling. The insistence on short passes when it wasn't working. Moving down the field with long passes, and then not throwing one time into the endzone once we reached the 10 yard line. Down by 6 with in the 4th quarter and the defense gives up a 50 yard TD pass with tho horrible miss tackles and darby not going for a tackle because he though rambo had him. carpenter missing a short field goal. No pass rush. Yea there were some bad calls on the bills today but thats what you get when you commit 10+ legitimate penalties. Can't blame the refs at all. Hughes is an absolute idiot Duke williams is complete trash, sign anyone else whaley. Robert Woods today sucked. Not only the fumble, but the failure to catch a long pass in the 2nd i think Taylor won't run even when there is a ton of field ripe for the picking. Harvin whiffing on the deep ball Short yardage play calling is the worst Designed short yard pass plays when you need 8+ yards are beyond dumb. Why does Thigpin not only fair catch every ball inside the 10, he even did one near the 5. Why is this okay?
  14. Of course not, but does the word whaley enter my brain? No, that is ridiculous. Instead I realize he has had two low-impact games, when the rest of the d-line had low-impact games. And thats uh where the thought process stops, as it should. Dareus has shown to be an impact player, 2 games doesn't change that. And I certainly don't blame whaley....
  15. There are way too many straw man arguments here. 1) The GM is too blame if they don't win, period. 2) How will I feel if the bills miss the playoffs for a 16th straight year 3) You aren't impressed with dareous this year 4) You aren't allowed to post that they are lousy. How could anyone argue with any of that? Basically, if the team doesn't win or a player isn't performing, it is the GM's fault. Got it.
  16. Absolutely not. I don't know how anyone can watch this game and think talent or the roster was the issue. Seriously, criticizing the Dareus extension? Come on. Has anything from the past couple years shown you the talent on defense is an issue? When they don't produce, you really go to the GM to point the finger, not execution or coaching?
  17. You gotta admit true blue, when we needed the defense the most, they were embarrassingly bad. And I don't know how much it was the defense stepping up in the second half, or the Giants getting way too conservative and bad starting field possession. I thought the defense was okay today and not the reason for the loss. But also have no confidence in them getting a stop when we need it the most
  18. Also, while I think the coach is to blame for penalties overall. You can't blame rex for hughes (or aaron williams). Those two ###### are grown men who do it every week. Make no mistake, if aaron williams played today, he would have stopped that long TD pass (unlike rambo). He would then have extended that drive by punching someone he was so bad today again
  19. I don't think i worded it correctly but that was my point too. If that show was because of roman, then oh boy this is gonna be a long season. If it was because taylor had a rough game reading defenses, and kept checking down, that that is okay. Yea it was a bad game, but its only game 4 for him and it hasnt been a big issue prior to today. I'm thinking it was roman though, that guy
  20. Does no one remember how undisciplined we were last year? Or I'm imagining that? 5th last year = http://www.nflpenalties.com/index.php?view=total&year=2014 5th this year going into today = http://www.nflpenalties.com/index.php?view=total&year=2015
