I don't think we ignore or forget it. It's his team, sure. Know what? It's OUR team too, in some important sense. So the grousing and hand-wringing about what the fook is TP doing? Those are the qualities of an 'owner' shining through. A mere passive fan -- someone who may take more of an easy come, easy go attitude (I'll just watch House of Cards if the Sabres stink) -- may take the view, 'meh. It's his team. He'll do what he wants.' Fans who are deeply invested will complain, sometimes bitterly, soemtimes lyrically sometimes absurdly (I'm looking at you, Ghost, and yes you, PA (with love)).
It is our team, too. We're asking that TP be a good steward of it.
TP doesn't have to do anything for the fans, if he doesn't want to. It's his team and his money.
Being a die-hard fan doesn't make you a decision maker for the team, and it doesn't obligate an owner to cater to the fan base.

I think he's getting players to play the way they need to. He's really helped Tyler Myers and to some degree lately Tyler Ennis. He's the perfect guy to have as our coach going forward in the interim. He's deserves the chance to watch this team grow. While the wins aren't there in leaps and bounds, we've got a much higher compete mentality since he's come back.
Don't forget, he's gotten something into Stafford too.

I would be shocked if Snow gives us his pick this year! I still think he tries to bring in as many UFA's as possible in the summer so that we don't pick in the top 10 next year .
As if Wang is going to let him toss around money.

For a "scoring line" guy, I'm thinking maybe he should actually score once in a while... although I guess you could say that about 3/4 of this roster.
Well, who else plays on his "scoring line?"
Just because he can't carry this team by himself, doesn't make him a worthless player.

The players are not intentionally trying to lose, and neither is Nolan.
The brass may have made moves that put the players and coaches into a position where it is more difficult to win, but most of the players still want to win and earn their place in the NHL. Leino is probably an exception.
I am certain players like Enroth, Lieuwen, Deslauriers, Ennis, Conacher, Flynn, Ruhwedel, etc arent purposely throwing games.

Time after time, Tortorella has been given teams that coaches dream of having, and time after time, he screws it all up. It's a miracle that he won in Tampa.
I think Torts has just lost his touch. He was great with the Amerks, then in TB...
He has been awful since. Time to stop coaching.

Yikes.
Since being traded to the Blues, Ryan Miller has faced 120 shots in 5 games. Poor Michal Neuvirth has faced 99 in 2 games with the #Sabres.
This is inaccurate. He has faced 98 shots. He wasnt in the net for the Gerbe empty netter.

My drive home from work tonight was tremendous fun. The highways are somewhat plowed but they aren't salting so the snow that is on them isn't slush. Good grippy snow. It was like an episode of Top Gear, miles of deserted three lane highway to use like my own personal race track.
