As proof of the theory, who is the player that lingered beyond the sunset and walked away a joke from the waning years of the team in my avatar?
The prize is cookies.
The Flower?

What?
My gf got engaged?

To me, this means Gazelle or whatever her name is, is either bad at sex, or does give him much of it.

Quite possibly the worst professional sports game ever announced. A some what cool podcast to listen to with old Wayne-isms , maybe.
Three and a half hours of Rob Ray ? Yes, please. I down loaded the WGR app hoping he was calling the game. I was so disappointed.
3 hours of Rob Ray stories > 3 hours of Gretzky stories

I haven’t read the thread, so I’m sure all of these things have been discussed already:
-the game calling (or lack thereof) was awful. Both teams feature a lot of young players, and the NHL missed an opportunity to showcase them. It was like a couple dudes ran into Gretzky while a game was playing in the background. I’m sure a lot of people under 30, especially kids, didn’t care to hear stories from 40 years ago - especially if I didn’t want to hear them. A couple stories would’ve been cool, but not during play and not the entire game.
-The Sabres made a lot of small plays that were impressive, particularly defensive ones I saw made by Dahlin and Samuelsson. Samuelsson is criminally underrated and he’s only going to get better.
-The Cozens hit and then staying to watch the rest of the game was amazing to see. This is the type of character the team lacked for a long time, and now they have a handful of these guys so far.
-I forgot exactly what he said, but before the game, Biz said something like “Toronto will annihilate Buffalo.” What a hack.
I have voluntarily opted out of watching most of the games this season for the first time since the 90’s, but happened to see the last 2, and I am happily surprised by what I watched Thursday and today. They look to finally be on the correct path.
Also, F the Leafs.

Dhalin is playing with more spite lately... I liked his response.
Do you have a jersey from China that says “Dhalin” on the back?
Andreychuck would like a word with you.

I don't think you understand the meaning of the word rue.
And yet, there was a car commercial a few months back on the radio in Rochester that constantly played and said “rule the day.”
So annoying.

I think this core peaked in 2018.
They peaked?

I will do it.
I have no experience, but I’d enjoy the experience. Just let me keep the jersey, and throw in a soft pretzel.

Does he have a hockey card with the Sabres?

This team plays with no structure, it looks like they're playing pickup.
I get the idea they're young and Granato wants to give them some leash to be creative... but there has to be some minimal sense of structure for them to operate in. I don't see it.
It won't matter how much talent they add if they're all playing as individuals.
Sabres fans with Krueger: “too much structure, let them play!”
Sabres fans with Donnie G: “too much letting them play, where’s the structure?”
Rayzor quote of the night, quoting Mike Keenan: “if you don’t know what you’re about to do, the other team doesn’t either.”

I just spent every moment following that last regulation time kickoff curssing McDermott's name. Why would you end zone kick that? Like, really, WTF?
This was my biggest gripe of the game. Kick it in play, eat as much time as possible.

This needs to be in the running for dumbest post of the season award.
8 of the 11 players listed on the Injury Report are veterans, which didn’t include Quinn.

Krebs sucks. Tuch is so underrated. Such a pro. We will have to see what the first was
How does Krebs suck?
He is only 20 with only 20 NHL games, and he sucks already?

Favre was robbed of the SB MVP that year. By today’s standards there’s no way he wouldn’t get it. They give it to a QB every year now anyway. But he had 2 tds, a rush td, threw a 2pt convert, 107.9 rating (when you could hit the QB), 246 yards, no picks. As you definitely know - it wasn’t later Packers career Favre. That he wasn’t given the most valuable player cause of one play still doesn’t make sense
I just get annoyed that he claims his name is pronounced Farve when it’s clearly spelled Favre.
How did the R magically jump in front of the V?

Its the wrong thread for this topic, but interest by a PEI is not revenues when they are such a small portion of the value of the team.
And those decisions were still not revenue decisions, they were on the other side of the ledger.
What does Prince Edward Island have to do with anything?

You want to give up a veteran leader (AND PAY HALF), a solid D prospect, a solid G prospect, and a top pick up for 3 JAGs?
Why? What is your reasoning behind this?
