Still gotta clear out front of net, and win battles in corner. So, if two players are equal in talent, but one is bigger and strong than the other, who would you pick to play on your team? -

Oh, well let's see. Look at how Chara used his size to become a future hall of famers while smallish, though skilled, Butcher will probably not have a long NHL career See what I did there? -

Size is important, but so is speed and skill. It's all about balance. We seem to be more of a smaller, faster team now, while the Flames seem to have a much better balance of speed, size and toughness. They also sure throw a lot of interference for each other without getting penalized -
Roger Allan Crozier (March 16, 1942 β January 11, 1996) was a Canadianprofessional ice hockey goaltender who played fourteen seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Detroit Red Wings, Buffalo Sabres and Washington Capitals. During his career, Crozier was named to the NHL First All-Star Team once, was a Calder Memorial Trophy winner, and was the first player to win the Conn Smythe Trophy while playing for the losing team in the Stanley Cup Finals. He was the last goaltender in the NHL to start all of his team's games in the regular season, in 1964β65.
