Never bet on any team I decide to cheer for…

So far in the MLB playoffs, each series, every team I decide to cheer for, has lost.  Every one!

I am currently cheering for the Astros and Padres.  Let’s see how that works out.

The Astros will win this series easily. The Yankees are afraid of them. They have been since 2017.

Video coach for Team X with a son thats been drafted, engages in small talk with random fan from team son was drafted by, volunteers sons indecision at signing and why, a trade that was scuttled and what conditions scuttled the trade, all while working on stats for team he represents while eating dinner in a public place.

Im working under the assumption that someone in that position, with a son in a delicate negotiating circumstance, would know better.

If he was an employee of the team I managed and I got wind of this I would let him go immediately.  Loose lips sink ships.

    It was a cute story.

I wish you were right, but alas, game 5 is on.

And I can't even complain about Boone tonight. Cole was great (he did give up that tater, though.) Holmes pitched (imagine that) and Wandy had A+ stuff for 7 whole pitches.

I'm terrified for tomorrow though. The Yankees bats had better hang 12 on 'em if they want the Astros.

5 singles in the bottom of the 9th to score 3 and win, Cleveland up 2 games to 1. Go Guards!

It's over tomorrow. Boone is the worst manager in the post-season. He's got his team openly questioning his ***** bullpen usage in the post game interviews. He should have been fired so many times. The Yankees will be stuck with him for eternity.

Cole was brilliant in game one save for 1 pitch. He'll give up 2 bombs tomorrow to a team that hit about 17 home runs this season. Cleveland wins 4-1. Yankees never threaten. Book it.

That’s probably right.  I lose track.  I haven’t seen them (they haven’t been over here) since ‘16, but they remain probably the best band I have ever seen live, repeatedly.  RS is 63 years old, and still brings it.

I do need them to get on it with announcing dates so I can make plans, though.

It's ok, I lose track too...it was 08 when I saw them lol

It’s been in the rotation for awhile.  I think the first time I saw them do it was ‘08.

According to Smith it was ’13 in New Orleans. Still, that's 2 decades after they recorded it. And many shows of him being a dingleberry about not playing it.

I've seen them in 05 I believe. I was impressed with how his voice has held up over the years.

If only I gambled...or presently had access to gambling...this seems like a good place to put an investment that doesn't require selling the house.

I haven't placed a bet since I was 21. But I've got a hundred on this with a buddy of mine who's a ***** talking Islanders fan. He was even nice enough to give me even money odds. (Over is currently -135)
