  1. Like so many games this season, if this were just a one-off, you could live with it. most nights I think the effort is there and they look like a competent NHL team.  BUT these loses aren’t isolated . They’re happening every night. Yes injuries have played a huge role but still something has to give

If this was any other NHL franchise , you'd say "it's just not our year".
BUT this isn't any other franchise, it's a circus of a  franchise and it's time to get rid of the lead clown and Fire KA

    Just scrolled through the 1st.
Sometimes I think if they didn't keep score the Sabres wouldn't be half bad

really like the PP. guys were actually moving.  Yes it was only for a minute but  Östlund , Quinn and Rosen had it looking better than any other time since Bensons been hurt

Hey that was still pretty good.  Didn't score but you see guys with actual offensive imagination out there.

The issue with McKenna, which I brought up a few months ago, was my concern that he wouldn't produce at a high level in NCAA hockey against 22, 23, 24 year olds.

Still think he'll be an excellent pro, but he's not in McDavid's class.... or Celebrini.  I see more of a Clayton Keller watching him play.

if he's like Keller , he'd still be our best forward.
I'm hoping he comes more of a bonafide top pick as he gets more accustomed to playing in NCAA vs CHL

    Not everyone.

Playing to lose makes you a loser.

You don’t tank for Clayton Keller.

Where did anyone say "tank"?   Not one person.

Tuch would be an unreal 2nd/3rd liner and elite PK anchor on a more talented team. He does so many sneaky good things with his active stick and awareness, but isn't a huge driver on his own. His line with McLeod and Doan looked really solid to me earlier, but that leaves poor, drive-by TT exposed and vulnerable without a healthy Benson.

Was cool a couple times to watch Quinn force the action and set up his younger linemate. For whatever that's worth.

I've been saying that for years.
he has a role and is a good player but there are lots of warts too

Although this is true these players still have absolutely no heart, no shots the last 13 minutes down by 2 goals is unacceptable, we have a coach that holds nobody accountable, Power out there never getting pucks out, never doing much of anything and he plays every single game. Our so called top players looked like they didn't even belong out there with a struggling (Against every team but the Sabres) Utah team.

Fire Adams and let JK make the decisions Ruff will know he is gone after this season but I trust him to give an Honest assessment of the players.   let them figure out who is worth keeping.

maybe there is a coach out there that helps improves Power.  Remember the mess Dahlin was prior to DG? though my guess he isn't a JK guy.  He did say it's easier to tame a tiger than to paint stripes on a mouse"

    Maaaan, not Tuch

I get that $hit isn't looking very promising at the moment (or, for the last decade+ TBF) but trading away Mr Upstate NY really sends home the message that rebuild 3.0 is reality

You can't force him to re-sign

not too mention his age and the contract he will expect

would love to see him back for 4 or 5 more years but have to explore options

Oh God no. He's certainly above Power and if he wasn't, 3 guys would have overtaken him (Stenberg. Verhoeff, and Belchetz).

He's imo a half step below Bedard/Celebrini but it's still early, so idk yet. He's lacking a 200ft game, fully. His offensive ideas though and skill-set are on par with Celebrini. McKenna creates offense.

    Would he help the PP?

    NO MORE TANKING!!!!!

I want them to start winning. Or at the very least competing with some consistency, which means, START WINNING!!!!!

Thank you for letting me get that out, my apologies to the neighbors.

Sure, everyone wants that. But you can’t just ignore what’s happening while the season crumbles. And for the record, no one mentioned tanking.

  9. If he’s not already sitting at the top of TSN’s trade board, he will be soon.

The only Tuch chatter I’ve heard has come out of Vancouver media, and yeah — I get that his wife is from the area.

But I’m not interested in draft picks coming back.

The question is whether you can turn Tuch into a return similar to what they got for JJP.

Ultimately is Eichel's injury and Terry's refusal to work with him to get the modern surgery what destroyed the rebuild and any chance of avoiding the current death spiral?

Do Eichel, Reinhart, and Ullmark leave if Terry relents on the surgery?

    Probably not.
I would love to see anyone associated with the Eichel fiasco sent packing - most importantly the owner

The Sabres would have 3 of the top 25 players in the NHL on their roster (using TSNs top 100).  I find it difficult to believe the streak would still be intact with those 3 hitting their prime
