    Losing to one of the worst teams in the NHL They have a 4 - 9 road record. Sabres are showing a lack of effort and cohesion

    Phil has never my choice for HC and this still stands. This team is in need of direction and a man who can motivate them. I just do not see it happening with Phil.

    When you let one guy dig for the puck in the offensive end and they reverse it you have to take the puck handler out. Falling back gives them a chance to shoot and score which they did.

    Can not lose a man in your own end. Cheap goal

    Take the body on defense in your own end and then move the puck out. The Leafs will make a mistake so counter that pressure.

    First goal will open the flood gates...chances the are there to be had. Have to find a way to bury the puck.

    They gave a great effort but Nashville is hard to beat at home. Had a couple chances to tie it. Darn the luck. Wonder when the losing streak will end.

    The same problems I saw in the last 4 or 5 games continue. The team has to play better and disciplined hockey in the third period.

    It seems in hockey after a long winning streak it is followed by a losing streak.
