Switched to a movie. Followed the game on espn gamecast. It was not fun to watch.

You could have Scotty Bowman, Punch Imlach or Toe Blake coach this team and I doubt you get better results. Seems like when pressure is on they all regress. Heck there are games recently where they checked out mentally soon after the puck drops. The chemistry is not there. It was a better effort tonight but the team still makes mental mistakes. I chalk some of this on youth but the older guys are just not cutting it.

That was a way too easy of a goal. The shot was lame but Neuvirth was horrible.

To sum it up NHL team vs AHL team. Sabres never showed up to play a battered and bruised Wild. They had no passion, no energy and no urgency.

Horton meant a lot to the young organization. I was in the Aud the day after he died. Sabres tied Atlanta but the Aud was dead. People really liked Tim Horton. That is why his number was retired.
