Hagens is probably on that Jack Hughes trajectory. He's a playmaker with some jam and a really good 2-way game. Misa is probably more along the lines of well, I am not 100% sure. I think he is less dyanmic of a playmaker, more dynamic of a skater, motor revs a touch higher, and he's more physical than Hagens. His 2-way game is not as developed but his rush game is amazing (which is part of the issue, rush games don't always translate to the NHL smoothly). His shot is really good. After that Roger McQueen is a big 2-way center with some jam to his game. Sadly he's been injured and that's my biggest concern with him. He's missed about 12 games in the previous 2 years as well and will have missed about 30 games in this one. That said, he is this years Cayden Lindstrom. After that, there isn't another center in the top 6ish depending on how you feel about Carter Bear (I think he's probably a winger). There are a bunch of centers in the 10-20 range, Caleb Desnoyers (could go 6-10), Braeden Cootes, Anton Frondell, Jake O'Brien, Brady Martin. If we look at the 30-40 range, Ivan Ryabkin stands out at center along with Cole Reschny and a guy I would think about targeting, Milton GΓ€strin. I should add that Gastrin reminds me of Helenius in that he is solid all over the ice but doesn't have a specific skill that wows you. Still a 6'1" middle 6 center that is a 2-way 50pt player would be a very nice 2nd round selection.

So they called up a player to take zuckers spot on line 2 and instead of getting a look at Rosen went back to Kozak ... You know what, ***** this org. It's run by idiots. -
Once you say 1 generation back, what stops you from saying 2? What stops you from saying ever? Who defines entered the country legally? How do we prove who's been here for multiple generations? Can police now stop me and ask for my papers? If the 14th amendment can be changed by executive order, all amendments can. That's not a functioning democracy, that's a dictatorship.

Does the fact there has been no movement actually signal hope?

Ok, now a real response. I think Terry doesn't really care unless it impacts his rich guy yacht money. Adams, isn't good at making moves and other GMs keep waiting to fleece him. So when they can't, they tend to hold. So you have 2 factors, Terry doesn't care enough to put pressure on, especially with the Bills still going. And 2, Adams isn't competent enough in his job regardless of the limits Terry has on him. -

EP put Frondell 18th... so I fully expect Buffalo to reach on him in the top 5 and for me to have to argue about why it was a mistake for about 5 years while it pans out that he was a mistake that high.

Little jealous of this. I really want to try this but it is basically impossible to get. I probably mentioned this before but maybe not, I have a bottle of Weller 12yr and it is very good. I like wheated bourbons because they tend to take out some of the burn you get with blends that have more rye in them. Weller 12 is really nice on the rocks or with a couple drops of water, has a smooth buttery start and then you get some of that spicey heat at the end but you still get that smokey vanilla sweatness throughout which I enjoy.

This team is less Theoden and more Wormtongue -
I did, and you cursed me. I was awake at 3am because of the tiny human. It was like you could see the future.

They haven't but I will say that Sal and WGR has brought it up multiple times.
-
I will add that a 3 and out, keeps your defense on the field instead of your offense. It is self defeating of Brady to say "we have to run and throw short to run clock" when those same things resulted in getting the ball taken away on downs. Hope he learns because he was ultra conservative in the 3rd qrtr and it resulted in the Bills almost coming up short.
-
That's what was frustrating about the 2nd half, especially the 3rd qrtr. They refused to run play action and throw down field. Really felt like they came out in "milk the clock" mode and Brady was being an idiot. On 3rd and 5 you don't run a freaking screen to a TE. They just seemed to refuse to be deceptive last night. It was a lot of straightforward stuff which was bizarre. Maybe they were afraid of the Baltimore secondary but I think they had success running and didn't pivot to passing when that started shutting down. Josh Allen barely rolled out or did anything creative. They won, so no complaints there but they'll need to open up the passing book to keep winning.

What did McDermott say?
-
What a game. I think Buffalo needed to open the play book more in the second half. I get that running was working but it got a bit predictable and caused the game to stay in doubt. Defense was really good at getting plays but, I worry about the lack of pass rush. Still, props to the defense getting those turnovers. We won. On to KC.
