  1. I actually or oddly enough, have faith in Norris.
  2. Yea but the point is there's more depth now than when Benson joined. Eklund would need to beat out, Tage, Tuch, Peterka, Benson, and Zucker and probably Greenway and Quinn, and either Rosen or Östlund or even Kulich who could be considered a wing. Benson just had to beat Savoie.
  3. Was providing you evidence that border crossings are down since you called it conjecture.
  4. https://www.wgrz.com/article/travel/canadian-tourism-down-in-buffalo/71-17a50600-9702-48ff-a65e-42e130778675 https://www.northcountrypublicradio.org/news/story/51755/20250519/border-crossings-from-canada-to-the-north-country-are-down-significantly
  5. Ok, well when it happens you can take a victory lap.
  6. I want Adams to trade for a 5'9" center so bad, just to watch this place lose their *****.
  7. Would be ***** peak Kevyn Adams to trade Quinn and more for Rossi.
  8. Cool story. Also condescend harder next time, it was tough to pick it up with the minimal context clues you gave.
  9. Roll roll roll your eyes, idgaf merrily merrily merrily merrily, I'm heading off to lunch
  10. Actually, in the NHL, there's a bunch of scenarios where size might not help. For example if you get inside someone's reach, it becomes more difficult for a taller player to regain leverage unless they can physically push you away. Ideally 6'-6'3" is optional nhl player size.
  11. And you wouldn't have drafted Zach Benson. You like him now, sure but I'd bet money that you would not have drafted 5'10" Benson after the 2022 draft of Savoie.
  12. I don't understand the hockey world's love of Dubas.
  13. Only if you use it. Zach Benson is the poster child of pushing back against this. He routinely wins board battles against bigger players. And you wouldn't have drafted him.
  14. You believe that every nmc has Buffalo and every nhl player hates it here. That's some great work by Adams convincing ppl he's bad because of others. Zucker literally talked about how Buffalo doesn't have as negative of a connotation as fans think. Further only like 1/3 of players have nmc so there's options. Or did Byram, Norris, Zucker, Greenway, all just have their car break down so they had to stay. He's not under contract.
  15. Zach Benson should have gone top 5 in a very good draft. He's a compete abnormality. Also, Eklund would be behind many others on the depth chart.
  16. Literally nothing to click on If you hit a duck in the head with a drive at 50yrds, that duck would be less lame than this front office. Really excited for the Seth Appert head coach in 2026. Not.
  17. Well thank God. Honestly, they should move out Adams and make Karmanos GM if they aren't going to do a real search.
  18. He's not getting nhl offers so yes, smart to go play in Europe.
  19. It's kinda amazing that Adams, with literally nothing to show for his tenure, is being retained after his team got worse. The fact Peterka wants out is like a cherry on top to go with "we're bringing back all the coaches" Sunday.
  20. Lol, I love it when ppl fear monger. The NHL isn't interested in relocating, they want expansion fees.
  21. They seemed to shift after 2022. Zach Benson, followed by Wahlberg and Strbak. Then Helenius followed by Kleber and Ziemer. They prioritized rhd in the 2nd round and either added size or grit with the forward picks. I think they're very aware of the profile they think they have. However, analytics is about market inefficiency and taking Benson and even Helenius is exactly that. Teams letting talented and tenacious players slide because of height.
  22. Never let Corey Pronman draft for you. "Victor Eklund is the BPA here, but in the background is the plethora of smaller, skilled forwards Buffalo has drafted over the past five years. It would be hard to justify Eklund into the mix the Sabres have already picked, even if he's a great and highly competitive player. We opt for Aitcheson here. He's our second ranked-defenseman in this class. He brings a combination of tenacity, skill and athleticism to the blue line and will help us at both ends of the ice on top of making our team harder to play against. — Pronman" Aitcheson, who I like, is a LHD. So we can't draft Eklund cuz small winger but we can draft yet another lhd top 10 to add to Dahlin, Byram, Power. My issue isn't the pick, it's the complete lack of internal logic from Pronman. If we can't draft Eklund cuz small wingers (Benson is the only small winger, Östlund, Helenius, Kulich, are centers) than how does it make sense to take a lhd? Btw, Brady Martin is available.
