They need to work together and set themselves up in a triangle. To many times the Sabres come across the blue line and they're lost and running into each other or in a straight line never getting into a position to give or receive a pass. Coaches would tell us if you're not sure where you need to be, then whenever possible position yourself as one point of a triangle thus making yourself available to receive a pass and make a pass. Of course this only works if your teammates are positioning themselves and making the necessary adjustments to maintain that triangle. Sometimes pattern recognition is a lot easier when things get out of whack. Making the adjustments, being the one to complete the triangle; somebody has to.

Is that a realistic assessment?

Nice How many right hand players do we have in the line up now? Maybe a few more right handed players would help.

At the sell off point who should we expect to see filling in for the rest of the season? If we finish last how does this effect the team rebuild schedule. I got the feeling that the team they put on the ice this year was possibly a playoff team to build around; however, when I hear "sell off assets" I can't help to think that this goes from a 4 year rebuild effort to an eight year rebuild. Hard to envision this team making it into the playoffs anytime soon.

I apologize if I have offended you by suggesting that the Sabres maybe a tank team. Due to my ignorance I made a stupid comment. Let me start over. What do you call a team that is almost half way through the season and has only 7 wins. I'm asking this in all seriousness. If the Sabres continue on and let's say they turn out to have the worst record in the league, is there anything Sabres fans have to look forward to other than humiliation? Several years ago a team with the worst record would get the first overall pick in the draft. What now?

I take it we're officially a tank team now. Is there any advantage being the worst team in the NHL this year? Draft Picks maybe? Does the AHL have any broadcasting specials going on right now? Half season special....? Let's Go Americans!
