  1. What made the difference IMO, was that the Sabres buckled down, and made good defensive decisions when they needed to. Enough can not be said about Hutton. Yes, Tampa was the better team, but my point was that the Sabres didn't fall apart, and they did it as a team. They were the better team when it counted; they won the small battles along the boards, etc. When they needed it most. I don't believe it was all luck. I hope that clarify's what I was trying to say.
  2. Shut up NBCsn, the Sabres played well enough to win. They were the better team tonight. They buckled down when they needed to and they made some good decisions defensively. The Sabres won. Mulberry you suck, it wasn't luck. They showed some skill, and played well enough to win.
  3. They beat a good team, and that is that! YES! HUTTON IS THE MAN!!!!
  4. Hutton Again! Let's Go Buffalo! Let's Go Buffalo! Let's Go Buffalo!
  5. Stayin till the end? ? Just kidding. It was a crazy one last time. Let's Go Buffalo!
  6. We have a good goalie and the Sabres are a good 3rd-period team. Why not a win? We have some good players too.
  7. They're playin hockey! Doin a pretty good job against a good team. Let's Go Buffalo!
  8. He seems to be in the right spot at the right time. If there was a stat for picking off passes or breaking up plays... fun to watch.
  9. The crowd was still in it even when it was 3-1 and 6:40 to go. That saying something because last year at this point in the game Sabres fans would've checked out already. We have great fans! People are believing again. Great job by Housley to pull the goalie at the 3min mark.
  10. That was the craziest come back in a long time. I had a jump out of your seat moment when they scored the game tieing goal. It has been fun to watch this team grow. Eichel had a monster shift at the end, at one point it looked like Eichel was single-handedly taking on the whole team, and they still couldn't get the puck from him. Hey, Swamp was that the one you were talking about?
  11. MODO said he had enough and was calling it a night and I thought he had checked out, and not long after that wow, the comeback started. You can't count these guys out of it this year, they're really taking losing personal and putting up a fight to the end. Let's Go Buffalo!
  12. Wow, blast from the past. I forgot about the days of self-flagellation. I'm watching the game again and Larsson showed some real speed and determination in the 1st period and was a force in the 2nd. I haven't seen the possession numbers for Larsson's' line but they sure make the opposition work to defend.
