I've thought about this for another thread, but not sure it warrants that.
But, what are our thoughts on these current members in terms of off season training, it's hard to quantify but how committed are they.
I remember hearing stories of Crosby and etc, working tirelessly in face offs in the off seasons and other such skills.
The way they cut out of the locker room when things are going poor, makes me hesitant to think that they are all in during the off season. Sure it's a long grind, take some time at the end of the season but I just don't get the impression that this group is putting in the work needed (complete speculation)
We have obvious talent (we've picked high for a decade, ha) but there's still just no reason for this to be a repeat issue.
Just a though for the upcoming (long) off-season.... Again.

That was disgusting. We knew the wings would come out hard after we beat them down and we did nothing to match It.
I haven't seen passing that sloppy since the timbit players in the intermission, a full step behind everywhere on the ice.
We're riding UPL into the found because Adams is simply not a competent GM.
As echoed before, it should never come down to needing to go 15-3 to make the playoffs, it's simply not possible. We're so hungry for a playoff birth that this team fooled a good majority into hope.
Let's just run it back next year with a team that underachieved so much that they made droopy D seem excitable. Sounds like a great plan.
